Great video. I go to Eagle River each February for a snowmobile trip. It never gets old. I love Eagle River trails. The museum next door to the track is awesome. Also the museums in st. Germain and sayner.
Eagle river trails are typically slower running trails. They’re twisty and narrow in many cases. Still an awesome experience riding the sleds to the derby! Plenty of trails nearby that are wide and straight to grab a handful of gas👍🏻
We managed to find some faster stuff out of town too. We went for a evening ride after diner and before any beers. Rode about 60 miles and it was spectacular in the dark!
I live 50 miles from Eagle river and one thing when riding to do especially during race weekend is avoid going to Eagle River area.. Way way way to many sleds and trails are literally pounded even on good snow years to rock and dirt! I guess if you don't mind almost getting hit at every corner from throttle flipping bar pounders and having your skid turn into a rock crusher I would recommend it lol! If you want to go to races take your truck!!
Hi Larry, We must have gotten lucky with conditions. The trails were a little busy and more used up around town, but I thought with the race event going on the trails were way better then I expected. We did ride away from town with the group each day to return to Eagle River. Still a great snowmobiling adventure! -Jeff
The only one who actually says wiscansin like that is T-Pain. It is fun to say though. I'm very familiar with that area and it's always the best place to ride out of all our options coming up from Green Bay.
Dubbed as the snowmobile capital of the world followed by a sign that says stay on groomed trails…the true snowmobile capital of the world doesn’t restrict riders to groomed trials…that place is Willow Alaska.
As a Wisconsinite I appreciate this video 👍🏻
Same!
We will be back for sure!!!
I've been to the eagle river derby 1x, it was so cold it wasn't too fun .
Thanks for a great show.
Thank you STv for making it to Wisconsin finally. Hope you had a amazing time.
It was awesome. I want to go next year for the Vintage series the weekend before. There is still more to do there for sure!!

cool episode, jeff. 👍
Would like if you would cover the iron dog. My favorite.
A trip to Wisconsin and you didn't bring the greasy triple? Maybe next time! Good on ya STV!
No room in the trailer!!! Next time… -J
I hope you went to the Snowmobile Hall of Fame museum in St Germain while you were here.
Not on this trip but its on my list! We’ll have more from the museum in the next show too!
In all fairness you say aboot. And we are talking over a campfire, not a social media outlet CAMPFIRE CHAT!
At the Snowmobile Capital of the world and the guy representing Ultimax looked miserable poor guy 🙃
