I went to the Wakarusa music festival in Arkansas in 2009. STS9 played 2 nights and I was at both. After the festival, I make the 6 hour drive back home, turn on the tv to check the weather and this song was playing. Instant chills. I didn't know the weather channel was so groovy before that. Edit: I'm probably misremembering some details of this story. See below. Hah. Thanks stranger.
@@YoshisIslandFilms It was June 4-7, so if my memory is correct STS9 played on the 5th and 6th. The first time they played during the day at the big stage, and the second time they played at night in the tent. Both times were amazing, but that second time in the tent was nuts. They were on after Bassnectar... Man, that was a great festival.
@@YoshisIslandFilms Pretty sure it did, but I suppose I could be mistaken... I mean, who am I to disagree with some random person on the internet with an anime avatar? Here's a link to them playing it on the 8's in December of 2009 ruclips.net/video/Kx5UCuKcK_A/видео.html. I'm curious though, how is it you think you know what the June 2009 playlist was on TWC? This information isn't exactly common knowledge as far as I know.
@@evandeal5564 This song was actually on the July/August 2009, November/December 2009, part of January 2010, January/February 2011, and a remixed version of this song was on the September/October 2011 playlist. I think you got confused with the dates you went to the festival and the playlists that the Weather Channel played this song. I'm just to correct you...
This track is so chill and laid back. Even when the BPMs greatly step up mid-track, it's still centered. Has been one of my fav tracks from the Sound Tribe since they released it.
Hahaha! Fk yea i remember hearing a few trax off of artifact once on twc a long while ago. It was cool to know someone in charge was a true "head". Sts9 the bestest of the best
I can't describe how much I love this song. There are few tracks out there that make me feel the way I do listening to this. I feel at peace when i listen to this, like the world around me has reached tranquility. This song also brings out a longing for space in my case, like outer-space, I just want to float through the galaxies enjoying the beauty of it all while I listen to this song. Thank you STS9 for this masterpiece.

I wrote some of my finest research papers listening to this album. It is a modern masterpiece.

2009 was a magical summer, and honestly part of the reason I feel this way is by “finding” this song on the local in the 8’s

I found this song through a sick edit of the Horizon Zero Dawn trailer which made both the game and song each a little more awesome.
