Moral of the story: screw around in Portal and find cool things
One thing I found: If you remove the AI soldiers' primary weapons and leave them with only pistols and grenades, they will only use those grenades for combat.
Plus they have an unlimited amount of grenades.
@@LAV-25A2_56 yeah true. Even when you leave a class open some AI will be stubborn and still only use the grenade🤦♂️

That was insanely early, the video is not even available at 720p yet. ^^
Maybe we get one last weapon crate update, like they did with battlefield 4 at the end.
I feel like I remember some rumor a while back about a night map or having an existing map being at night or in the dark, maybe that's what this would have been for. It was around the same time that the newer laser sights were coming out. As is, very limited use case but I wonder how effective this scope would be on a map like Haven where the windows are all extremely dark when viewed from the outside - though thermals would also probably handle this.
Honestly that's cool but they already have thermals so I see why not but there are some dark areas which would be useful.
It's funny that dice always do this 😂.

This happens all the time, not everything makes the cut, it’s always the case unfortunately. If you look at a website called cutting room floor you can look at a heap of cut content from games.

It's just weird that they decide to cut functioning content that already was in the previous games

It would be cool if they added night versions of the maps in the second half of the season, but we all know that isn't going to happen
One of the easiest ways to make players happy. Is to just release alternative timed maps. A noon version of Manifest, a sunset on Arica harbor, a night map on Stranded, a dawn map on Valparaiso
Tbh, I don't see the point in night vision scopes unless map is as dark as night Zavod in BF4 and smoke would also counter thermal vision
How do I do this i disabled the close, medium, and long range optics but I keep getting iron sights or was this already patched

Except for redscted but even then redacted is pretty bright

Night vision was in the game from the start, but who cares, there isn't any night map
