I would never ever imagined seing a Rolls A250 C20 gasturbine engine just randomly being filmed in one of your videos. Ive worked on those for a good decade back in the day. Fun fact thats a similar engine thats on the Y2K bike the Jay leno owns.
As a southwestern European I was sweating bullets when you pulled out in an extremely loud, very clearly modified Viper with no plate in the front and a (seemingly) fake plate in the back... I was like "There's no way they're not gonna be stopped by the police and get in serious trouble". But I'm glad it went smoothly and you enjoyed it. Also happy to see this level of car builds in europe.
ITALY IS ON THE MAP FOR JDM CARS WHAT A TREAT TO SEE HIS RESTORATIONS THANKS FOR THE CONTENT. THIS VIDEO CONTENT I ENJOYED VERY MUCH. THANK YOU FEDE, NEW FOUND FAN
Except that this guy lies way way too much. Everything he owns is super duper rare. Yeah, right. Only Unimog of that series in Italy🤣🤣 Only 2 R34 2F2F 🤣🤣
@@gafrers I'm from italy and there is no unimog at all, let alone a unimog with no roof from the factory, i can assure you that in my 20 years in Italy i saw only 1 other italian gtr r34 and from a video, never one in person and YES that is the only C-WEST one in Italy
@@vittoriobencivenga Try going to some Farming show, Farming fests and reunions, You'll see how many Unimogs there are. Also ANAS uses Unimogs for snow clearing, salting, etc, usually 1980s 1990s models. There aren0t a ton but there are. Sadly often left parked due to lack of funds. On the R34 front, i saw 2 in the same Bologna Motorshow many years ago. And 3 more in various events one at Vallelunga, one at Varano and one in a parking lot in a Shopping center during a "meeting".
Larry and Dino, you guys are truly my heroes when it comes to presenting car culture! And as an italian living in switzerland it‘s making me so proud that there‘s this spirit in italy! Thank you guys so much 🏎️🏎️🏎️💨💨💨
As an Italian I am very happy to see a project like BEFUEL given visibility. It's really a shame that in Italy being passionate involves so many expenses and so many risks if you decide to improve or modify your car. I have an old Audi S6 with trim and rims and it's always annoying when they stop you for checks, but that's how it is 💁♂ We move forward as we can 😁
i love seeing these videos. the stories that you’re able to share remind me of articles that you’d find in MT or any car magazine…but it’s a visual story. love it.
It's not true we don't like cars and working on them, the thing is taxation is very steep and based on horsepower, furthermore any kind of mod is technically illigale meaning they could seize your car and an accidedns happens the insurance won't pay a dime EDIT: he is keeping the engines so he can swap it back on the car if he ever gets pulled over and they send him to a car inspection, always being able to drive the car has nothing to do with it. no hate for the guy, people outside italy probably don't understand how hard is to do this kind of things, but he is embelishing most of what he says, be aware of that
All your videos are always so nice and cool, I like how you take the time to let peoples speak and express their passion, one of the best car's culture yt channel imho
BeFuel is insane!!! It is the true Italian representation of having fun building cars. Thank you for coming to Italy and exporting this goodness to the world.
Im upset this is over😢 I saw this guy with Micha and garry in the japan vid. So happy you were able to show who im missing in the car world. This guy is doing what id like to do with older cars. Lika despticon dodge viper, supra with borderlands paint theme. Invader zim theme on the bmw and other ran into some paint drums. Wish could have the Volvo a little more. Cant wait to see the Renault finished! Thanks Larry!
@@fabioribeiro5071non capisco il tuo commento, c’é qualcuno che ha scritto il contrario? É ovvio che tutte le v spec che stanno in Italia sono state importate
Love the episode Larry. You do great things for global car culture. I have to say though the Mercedes is not the only convertible truck. I know where a dodge Dakota with a factory rag top is setting in a barn…
What a cool dude and what an amazing place and car collection. I do hope he talks the owner of that Z out of modifying it. I love all kinds of tuning but if you have such a rare survivor, I dont feel like it is right to do more than maybe some more fancy wheels, carbs and exhaust. It is so beautiful as is, otherwise!
Larry, I think it's kinda funny that R34 GTR had Florida plates on the rear bumper. Are they allowed to run any plate on the rear and the front be the actual registered plate? Why does this guy remind me off Damon from DDE...? DDE Italian version.
No, all the plate you see are only for show. In italy mechanica and people who work with car use "targa prova" wich is a temporary plate you move from one car to the other. You can see it on some car, is the one woth written impostor. With that you can drive non omologated car on public road with the excuse that you are fixing and testing them.
This was a great video, man, how loud is that viper. If this would roll on the streets of my country, the cops would take the car off the streets and put you in jail😂
In Italia è tutto proibito...
Everything amazing. I only want to make a little indication: the Mercedes Unimog is not the only convertible truck in the world, because the Pegaso 3045 was produced with an open roof too.
Ciao Larry, thank you for visiting Befuel and see you soon!!

In Italy there are much more GTR R34s, I think about twenty. I don't know about vspec 1, a few years ago there was also a vspec 2.
Still a handful, compared to other countries like Australia for example
lo ha detto nel video.
di v spec ce ne sono 2.
r34 invece ce ne sono di più
Thera are no v spec gtr sold outside of japan. It’s a jdm only car and only made rhd. 🤦♂️

There are a lot more than 7-8 gtr r34 in italy. In Pisa, i'm sure there is another v-speck, but for sure there are other v-speck too
