But I like the character development. Now I just hope we get a heart to heart between Keiran and Karmine in dlc2

I feel so bad and guilty about Kieran like we basically made all his dreams vome true and then snatched them away right in front of him. I think that he and Carmine have some sort of trauma that made them the way the are now/were when we first met them
@@leCuttlefish Carmine's backstory could've been more fleshed out since, reading the subtexts, it's a bit similar to how some of the more secluded provinces are a bit xenophobic for the valid (but still negotiable) reason of not wanting to break away from traditions and status quo, but most of the Western audience might read this sentiment as something completely different.
Kieran is a bit more obvious but, unless there's a setup that will culminate in DLC Part 2, it's just annoying how the game mildly downplay Carmine's "bullying antics" so that Carmine feels more like
"an annoying older sister who did nothing wrong with their sibling bickering"
and less like
"a semi-abusive sister who has her heart in the right place but can't properly communicate how much she cares about the people she cares about to the point that her brother misinterpreted everything she was doing after the festival as another way to bully him."
