Tomorrow's Warriors Junior Band - 'Footprints' by Wayne Shorter (3 mins edit)

Tomorrow's Warriors Junior band is one of our flagship ensembles featuring some of the most promising young jazz musicians currently enrolled on our Young Artist Development Programme. Our Junior Band usually meets each week at Southbank Centre, London where Tomorrow's Warriors has an ongoing residency. Mentored by their music leader and Warriors alumnus, Ben Burrell the Junior Band has performed live in various Tomorrow's Warriors showcases, including on various stages at Southbank Centre and at Union Chapel, Islington.
The Junior Band had been working on their own arrangement of Wayne Shorter's 'Footprints' just prior to the COVID-19 lockdown but, not wanting all their hard work go to waste, they continued to collaborate online both during and outside of their weekly development sessions on Zoom. (This version is the 3 mins edit, but check out the full 5 mins version that includes all three solos on keys, flute and double bass!)
