This ranking is from 2024 and is slightly different from the one from 2023 that we published in last year's video. What do you think about the study conducted by InterNations?
Don't forget, Germans have right to be Germans in Germany, or Austrians to be Austrians in Austria... If somebody doesn't like it, is free to go back to its home country.
How is then diversity and inclusion promoted (and demanded) in Germany and Austria. How is it that you demand these from other countries and blame them if they do not want to be diverse (like Hungary)?
@@freebozkurt9277 why anyone needs to demand inclusion and diversity? Demand??? Germany is homeland of Germans, and they have right to be Germans in Germany, or Austrians in Austria, or Swedish in Sweden, or... The EU with its 27 memberstates is already very diversed which is positive. Islamization of the European continent on the other hand doesn't have anything to do with diversity in positive meaning of the word. Just visit Lion or London for example to see how it looks today. Is it diversity? Where is the added value and benefit for the domestic population? As said earlier, everyone has the right to leave EU if not satisfied.
@@VesnaLambic Exactly that was my point. Why are they demanding from others what they are also suffering from? We Hungarians never tell eg. the Germans to reject immigrants. If they want them, keep them (although we also could claim more stringent immigrant policies from them since they admit them into the entire Schengen zone and they can also relocate to Hungary)
I am from the uk, and some immigrants want to keep their own countries' cultures, some of which break the law by either general culture or religion, most commonly carrying weapons.
You are the world champion of promoting inclusion and diversity, are not you? How do you then complain if immigrants keept their culture? You should celebrate it.
No, it is not. Mutual respect is the key. We Hungarians are very hospitable to all foreigners who are genuinly interested in our country and culture, and respect us but hostile against anyone who tries to invade (illigal immigrants), destroy us and our culture.
So the pretty wild fluctuations between the 23 & 24 stats seem to indicate a high element of subjectivity - not sure if in each country's case a representative sample was achieved. Top compliments on the pictures e.g. Rheinfall from the air - really top notch.
Hello! Actually, the changes compared to last year's InterNations ranking are not that significant. Some nations that didn't appear in 2023 and now do, were actually very close to making the list last year. The only major change is Finland, which, as you mentioned, shows that there's a significant degree of subjectivity in this study. Have a great day!
Hello from a foreigner living in the Czech Republic. How are we not 1st place? Czechs are really unfriendly towards each other, the attitude amongst service staff (e.g. cashiers, waiters, bank clerks, officials in government offices etc) is to be as unfriendly as possible. Czechs generally don't like working, so there's a large number of people who see customers/clients as a "problem" and they just want you to go away and stop being their problem, so they are unpleasant to you. Not speaking Czech (which is really hard) will result in xenophobic outrage from Czechs who don't speak a foreign language. Bear in mind that Czech is so hard that most Czech children have to see speech therapists just to pronounce their own language. Yet, these people expect foreigners to be fluent immediately. Generally, Czechs are closed, cold and distant towards people they don't know, yet really friendly to those they call friends. However, there's a lot of misunderstanding about Czechs, such as they are really formal with strangers, and this is often interpreted as rudeness, but it's just a cultural thing.
Ciao! Buona giornata!
Finland and Sweden should tell you already what a propaganda driven this video is... Locals are just fine, and the problems arise when immigrants (NOT tourists) compare local habits with their own, which is already showing a narrowminded mentality, but EXPECTS locals to alter their own habits and culture to accommodate them!
Hi! Thank you for sharing your valuable perspective! 😊 We just want to clarify that featuring the InterNations ranking in this video doesn't imply that we endorse it. We did it because we wanted to hear the opinions and experiences of the community. Have a great day!

Shall we blame it on Karma then eh ? Many well to do European nations cheated their way to financial success, by sucking the blood out of these very immigrant nations a few centuries ago. Even a tiny nation like Holland had colonised the simpletons of the east and Africa. Pay back time don’t you think
@@mallutornadoYou're just evil, jealous and filled with hatred Payback for what? Modern europeans didn't colonize anything. It's like making grandchilrend pay for the crimes of their grandparents. Why are you mixing opinions of immigrants and expats and hospitality (eg. tourists), these are three entirely different things and they have three entirely different experiences in each of these countries. Why should all welcome immigrants, for instance? But at the same time the same country might be the most hospitable to foreigners, such as, tourists and expats.
afraid this is one of so many videos recently popping up, where there is a strong propaganda hidden into them: there has been a sudden proliferation of videos where, for instance, the Cops in the US are portrayed as rude and having dictatorial manners, towards white folks... before they were falsely painted as "black people killers", but then, when it turned out that Blacks are 18.5% times more likely to shoot and kill a police officer, than the other way around, now they had to come up with something else to continue to vilify them... Another blatant propaganda is hidden in several of these "travel" oriented videos (like this one); I recently saw one where moving to Italy was explained as a wonderful thing to do... then, the interviewed were: 1) a couple of gays; 2) a lesbian... Of course there are ALSO gays and lesbians that decided to move to Italy, but... then, on a video about Milan they were showing the local women's elegance, two good looking and very well dressed lesbians were shown walking holding hands... What are the chances of "casually" filming a ,local scene and hitting just a lesbian couple? In Italy there always has been a multitude of anti-American videos, mostly portraying as "pro-America", but full of critics and hatred... I personally know someone who was paid to post mostly negative comments in it.
Hello! This ranking only pertains to expats/regular immigrants (as we've stated in the description, InterNations uses these terms interchangeably). It doesn't include tourists, which we've only mentioned to suggest another video specifically about tourists. Have a great day!
I am not surprised by the ranking. I completely agree with the gentleman that said that the people are so individualistic that they do not need friends. The state does everything. That is a shame.
Hello! It might seem strange, but France has been ranked by the same migrants as one of the most welcoming countries in Europe, as you can see in this video: ruclips.net/video/nF-DVuIl-V0/видео.html. This video is about last year's ranking, but we're preparing one for this year's. However, there are a few clarifications to be made: 1) As mentioned in the video, InterNations did not rank all countries but only those with a high number of migrants for work-related reasons. Therefore, if all countries had been included, France would not have been in the TOP 10 most welcoming countries. 2) Even though it is on that ranking, France is still below the halfway mark globally. 3) Migrants have made a significant distinction between Paris (described as unfriendly, as explained in this video: ruclips.net/video/cRXrIl8KJb4/видео.html) and the rest of France, described as much more friendly. Have a great day!
You seem to be relating the friendliness of a nation with the opinions of immigrants. Most immigrants coming to Britain for instance are those who don't want to remain where they were born and brought up. Coming to Britain offers them better opportunities, benefits and health care which they wouldn't necessarily get in their own countries. These people would then create huge communities of there own kind and refuse to integrate into UK life rarely venturing outside into British society. There, I've said it! Immigrants do not always mean those who arrive on dinghies. In the UK, most NHS workers, nurses, doctors, surgeons are from abroad. Majority of my colleagues at my university are foreigners.
I agree with Internations regarding my former country Denmark and yes it's a problem fo foreigners to find friends there. For Danish people living abroad, it's 100% impossible! The Danes in DK have no problem, even killing their own if/when we do not behave in their so-called "real" Danish way... This is not a country to have anything to do with which must be the reason the majority of Danes moving a road, never return!!

We Germans really are a tough nut to crack, we are very direct people and often speak our minds directly and in fact often have an introverted way of life where close friends and family play a bigger role and we don't give a crap about the rest. We are also quick to make judgements. But if you make a serious effort to integrate, learn the language and approach people openly (which many Germans tend to do less of), you can quickly feel at home here. But it takes a lot of initiative and willpower.
In the NHS, there are 19% foreign/immigrant workers. This is not MOST as you suggested. Perhaps where you are, but overall in the UK it's still 19%. Previous governments amended the status of Polytechnics and Technical colleges to University status so they can offer degree courses. This was to attract more people into universities, including foreign students. My point still remains. They don't integrate into UK society, have nothing in common with us, and often despise everything this country stands for.
