The BMW 850 is also worth checking out as there is an available body kit which is the same one in Forza Motorsport 7. Some cool engine swaps as well, including a 6.1 liter V12 from the McLaren F1

The r1t is an awesome truck, but I'd still take a srt10 ram instead, yeah the r1t is more practical, quicker, better off road and all around a better everyday truck, but there's nothing like doing 155mph in a pickup with a 8.4l copperhead v10
The insane thing is this R1T is likely the range topping quad motor variant. Yes, it has independently operated 4 electric motors, each driving a single wheel on the truck. All other EVs on sale right now usually only have dual motor, a front & rear motor driving each axle. Some cars like the Tesla Plaid, Hummer EV or Audi SQ8 e-tron has a tri-motor setup (1 front & 2 rear) but only Rivian has a 4 motor setup. This is why the Rivian has 835hp in stock configuration, and the 4 motor drive system allows for some serious torque vectoring capability in the corners. No wonder it handles so well for something this big & heavy.
honestly Forza should give us the option to install a 2nd gear in electric cars, kinda like how there was this glitch that let us have 4 gears. It legit saved so many EVs that were already in the game
I am so happy they added the Rivians but im a little disappointed in the over landing customization. it felt like it was just thrown in the game. 🧐 and Nick I think the R1T is my favorite pickup truck. it just looks so good.
Because a game doesn't simulate their downsides? Even BeamNG doesn't simulate EV crashes properly, they don't burst into flames like they do IRL. Does Forza even simulate motor damage for EVs like it does engine damage in normal vehicles? I actually don't know, so I'm curious. Also, the peak performance of an EV is off the line, it just gets worse the longer its driven, so if voltage droop and battery heating was at least simulated that would be good, it would result in the natural power drop towards the end of longer non-endurance races, and with fuel simulation enabled the battery level should drop rather than stay at 100% all the time as it does right now. Of course, if the devs added thermal simulation for all vehicles that would be cool, push too hard for too long without beefed-up cooling that adds drag and the engine overheats and the vehicle automatically slows down, no need for overheating stuff, and in that case EVs would have to suffer their natural enemy of heat further reducing range and eventually power output and also a cold battery reducing peak power and range, and in that case ICEs also would need to simulate cold air raising power a little but then simulate the risk of engine temps getting too low if you're not beaning the throttle everywhere and a cooling system made for warmer races in the summer being too much for the same vehicle in the winter. There's a hell of a lot the devs could do to add interesting realism that you need to work around in the Horizon games, and of course make the same additions a bit more intrusive and less arcadey in the Motorsport series, but at the moment I think the devs are very biased towards EVs, making them super heavy but not act that much like it, their tyres not wear out as quick as they should, never running out of range, those are the three big offenders afaik right now since the other stuff requires features that aren't there and thus don't hurt ICEs either so its fair in those regards. Wow, I typed waaaaaaaaaay too much wordage

by the way Nick, putting stiff anti roll bars in the front and softening the rear makes it very oversteery, and vice versa for stiff rears, soft fronts. maybe when creating your own drift suspension it’ll be better to make it oversteer more?

The R1T is pretty good at Baja-ing. Took mine earlier around the Baja circuit. Takes the landings EXTREMELY good.
