Oh yeah...cobbler (with ice cream)...the desert of the Gods! Cool recipe/technique...will try. TFS
Thanks for posting, was looking for the recipe since we has this in the Scouts at Camp Glen Gray in NJ, way back in the early 70s.
When I was in BoyScouts (Eagled out) we used to make them all, the time. Now my youngest is in but not many have done the cobblers anymore. A lost Art if you ask me.
Thank you for your service! My dad was with the Black Horse in Vietnam!
I remember having this at owasippe in scouts and I've never had one like that since. Definitely have to try the recipe.
@@giacozanger ALLONS!

Thats how we did it back in boy scouts Only we used bisquick

You need nutmeg and cinnamon on top with the butter.
Cinnamon sugar ?
Would it work with a crumble cake mix
How much does this feed? Looking to feed 8-10.
This fed 7. For larger batch just use a bigger dutch oven.
That would feed one of me! I'd do it with Blueberries.
Thanks
How many quarts is the oven, and how deep is it in inches?

razzyjr12345 it's super easy.
No Mixing? No stirring? I'm not too sure I'm comfortable with that.
It works..... I didnt think it would work either. It did. it all mixes up when it cooks.
No. You definitely do not want to mix anything!!!!
yikes bro. you got hot spots. turn the lid/pot 89 degrees every 15minutes itll turn out better
thats dump cake
No, its peach cobbler
@@ACountryWayOfLife It's the dump cake method. You dump the ingredients in there, hence "dump cake."
Dump cake, not cobbler
I'm so hot right now
I got the cure
This is not a difficult dessert to make from scratch. Canned fruit and cake mix... uh just no.
Cake mix and canned peaches? Ugh.
