Fun Fact: Members of Congress don't pay for gas. Yes you read that right. So re-watch her rant again, knowing that the price of gas is not a problem in her life, and "GTFOH" seems like the right reponse
Corporate Black Woman here. I oppose DEI want BEST person for the job hands down. WOULD HATE my high value black son to git wit a broad like Jasmin they living in DARKNESS, and ain't trying to Ok-kee-doke her BAD BEHAVIOR (Girl bye)
Her argument at the end was fire our history should be passed down through family and it’s not a excuse to cry about invisible race boogie man holdin u down get up and be somthin
Im so sick of that slave Narrative! And I'm a African American Studies major. All that sh!$ is BS. When you study world history and the Moorish Empire😂😂😂
You studying American history... And no matter if you wanna deal with the facts you still can't deny truth!! Compromiser... Ain't no black power in you 🤡
Fuck the moors and any of you fake ass Africans who helped Europeans to get us here!!! Tell them the truth! Tell them how the moors helped White folks capture us!! Tell em everything!!!
What history is actually being removed though? African American history was never history that was taught specifically until recently. Teaching American history includes African American
Black's for Trump-2024! She is the most embarrassing black woman in our race. She is only a cheerleader for the Democratic party, but she loves those clicks.
These two right here is another reason that the representation of Black women were rejected. She is trying to make a name for herself Secondly, it is within our homes that we educate our children about our history. You never leave anything for this failing school system to teach our children anything. Sit down and have your children read black history books to you, watch documentaries with them, play math and science games with them. Teach them at home. No one can erase our history. The schools don’t teach it properly anyway. We must do better.
I get that we’re in an era, as black people, taking accountability and exercising our rights and opportunities. However it is very ignorant and one dimensional to act like our history of oppression never happened. Yes we have some self inflicted wounds but remember people had to die for us to have the freedoms we have now. And oppression has never only been overt. Don’t be disingenuous because you want to separate yourself as the black person that made it.
why is it so disturbing to yall(not yall specifically, but US) to acknowledge history and the effects that it may have contributed to the current system in America? Dont let them re-write history. no matter the side you stand on.
Some of us don't want to do any self-evaluation of the impact. We don't want to think of any past traumas that may or may not been past down from parents to children. My parents where the first generation integrated in my family which mostly in and from the South in Alabama. And their horror stories left an impact on me and how I look at race relations in America. A lot of us are far from that so we think we have really progressed further than we really have mentally. I will say straight forward racism is declining but negative stereotyping of people is not and that is the biggest problem we have in my opinion. Black people have a negative stereotype when it comes to education, and management skills to a point that if you have a position or have a certain job people think you haven't earned that spot.
@briancrawford9922 here in lies the problem. Not every person not ever coty and state are as progressive as where you reside. I live in Springfield Il where Sonya Massey was killed and its not out of tge normal. Im 45 and can have a whole conversation with my mother who went through school segregation and can speak to getting hit with rocks and jumped on for going to school. Its funny how most cant relate to something that did not directly effect them. Thats our culture although
Bruh, the history has been acknowledged. If anything only the slavery part has been pushed down our throats for the longest yet we don’t focus on teaching financial literacy. U must not have been in a public school, especially DPS which is where I’m from. All it’s about is victimhood and watching amistad 100 times every fucking year and writing a paper on how it affects you today. We talk about it but no effort is bein put in on how to get out of it.
The Silence Breaker has been forgotten as well as the origins of the me movement. It began in the early 2000s. The black woman and her design has always been used to help all others.
whoa.. the color commentary innuendo was somehow cringe... "Vanilla Wafers" , "Chocolate Cake", "....Twinkies" ..? This is rough, and I actually like her a lot, but sheesh. This is not an oppression issue, and she really missed the mark on this one.
Jasmine Crotchet needs to speak for herself. Cuz my ancestors were never kidnapped and transported across the Atlantic for 6-9 months on sail boats. First of all a lot of people would've died of starvation and the intake of salt water knock people off let alone the Atlantic is by far the most treacherous body of water on that planet hence why you never see the sea branch of the military have routes or sey sails thru it. And let's not forget the corral reef systems along the east Coast line. That alone will sink boats. So that transatlantic crap is borderline psuedo
I 100% disagree I live in the south Houston Texas at that anybody who is anyone knows that most of the Hispanic people are in position of power when it comes through the hiring process do not hire black folks so I do think DEI is very much needed
Didn’t earn it is a problem cuz it opens up the doors of hiring incompetence, as you see in the White House and congress instead of excellence. If you really believe in diversity then we should find another way.
What what’s the complaining about ? If no ones oppressed. My great grandparents didn’t have the financial knowledge that I have. I’m not about to push in my kids head about the past .. I’m gong to continue the positive motion. Because I’m no victim
Which is still incorrect.. there were lots of white slaves that were very much oppressed in the past, ppl like crockett never talk about that cuz it doesn't fit there victimhood narrative
White people? I'm assuming that means Caucasians... If so, they have been oppressed before. I'll await your response. Before you respond... have you heard of Europe before? White in America means one race, but for the WORLD, it doesn't mean that. They have been oppressed before. Have you ever heard of gRape and pillage? Gangis Khan oppressed a lot of races and faces in the world. Are we now about to blame them as well? When do we get over oppression, BTW? Is there a time frame? Dollar amount? WTF folks. Instead of fighting for the past, fight for what's in front... not the rear view...
Some of Our people slowly but surely coming around to this sort of information. Genealogy is key but its also like common sense , not too many people have it
I don’t think so. I rather preach that in schools instead of this woke bullshit. More people in America need to learn about financial literacy and how to run a business and maybe wit dat knowledge, we could change how businesses work and help keep corruption at bay. Most of the stuff that happens in the world cuz people are ignorant to it
Yall Be So Worried About History Getting Removed From Schools Thats A Lie Any Way... Yall Disgracing Y'all Ancestors Talking About Shackles Chains & Shit🤣 My Folks Had Land & Was Building This Country Up Wasn't No Fucking Peasants This Way
I think she was going in on white men who feel oppressed in this country and I agree with how she felt about it...white people never been enslaved and had jim crow laws held against them...blacks endured alot in this country so she was right in my opinion....
White people have been oppressed in American history aka Irish slaves, British ruler America, Italians and Irish could only work at certain places because they were not allowed to at others. Also have to put out racist propaganda against whites in modern day media. Now debating who has been oppressed more is another debate but he saying white people haven’t been oppressed is not factual. This video also doesn’t show another black lady telling a white man that he couldn’t quote MLK because he’s white, seems like oppression their.

the honest basics of it if i posted the knowledge i have gained about that time. would get it instantly removed due to it not fitting the narrative.
