    Lovely to see them with so much room, and things to peck about with. They all look very happy and relaxed. Have they had any babies yet? I would also put a pair of quails in the bottom.. just as i love quails. Diamond doves are also very cute, peaceful and make a soothing cooing song.

    Beautiful Aviary! Can I ask where you got the water holder that sits on the floor that holds the water bottles? I love that the birds have plenty of room to fly :) Thanks for sharing

    Looks like Spanish moss to me. My questions is-where on earth would you get that much of it from?

    very inspiring! i have six finches in two large cages and have been thinking of doing something like this. have you had any aggression issues? i had to split my first foursome on account of some ruthless plucking

    what's the stuff that you have used on the walls? do they nest in it? and how have you attached it to the wall?

  • @MissEdiee
    @MissEdiee  12 лет назад +1

    It's a special kind of fire retardant bird safe straw, made just for the company.
    I can't find it anywhere.So I need to find something to replace it with.
    Their picking at it and making nest in it.
    Any Suggestions would be helpful.

      I've used sheets of adhesive backed moss. It really makes the bird's colors pop and it's safe too. 🤷‍♀️

    Are the birds bothered by your cat at all? I'm curious because I am wanting to have a small aviary of finches and I have four cats.

  • @MissEdiee
    @MissEdiee  12 лет назад

    No,but she is only one cat and an inside one. I don't know about having 4 cats.Maybe if it was on a stand, as not to get to much of their attention. Also are they outside cats? If so, out side they get to chase them. So they may want to inside too. Only you know the temperment of your cats. I will/can not say if yours will or not. Just give you things to think about. :)

    These Aviary's a simply incredible! Word on the street is that Jerry has a plant at the Great Lakes Naval Base in North Chicago, Illinois who is working on a secret plan to enclose the entire population of Philadelphia in a cloaked Aviary. I dont know about you Edie but living in a cloaked greenhouse that is temperature controlled via some type of Tesla power source sounds a bit frightening to me.

      Yeah Malissa Bader his name is Spencer. Big Black dude who's cover is to clean the Aviary and feed the birds.
