Serenkitty That isn't true, why would he not have gotten Ms. Congeniality if he was top 3? There is no rule that the top 3 can't get Ms. Congeniality. Nina Flowers was top three in season 1 and was also Ms. Congeniality.
Yeah that was season 1 and then it never happened again. All the Miss Congeniality's after were 4th place and up.

We all know damn good and well that DeLa was INFINITELY SUPERIOR TO DARIENNE. I mean, was RuPaul blind on the Glitter Ball episode? Darienne said it herself that she literally looked like Jabba the Hut.

Ben DeLaCreme is honestly the first queen I really truly related too.... depression is something I've been dealing with for years now and it takes a lot to come to terms and build up a support system....

I have aspergers, and I've felt like a goddamn alien my entire life. I've been suffering with depression for a long time and DeLa and drag race as a whole is what makes me smile. I love her so much.
Simple joys can make a real difference in our lives whether they're favorite TV shows, songs, video clips or our favorite coffee beverage in the morning. Identifying and allowing ourselves those things that bring us a bit of happiness help make the challenging times more tolerable. Hope you continue to find joy in the fun and drama of Drag Race. Maybe you'll have the opportunity to see Dela in person some time.

Ben DeLaCreame should of been top 3 on RPDR instead of Daren Lake, I thought he could of went far with his looks. He's naturally pretty an I liked that.

I love Ben. One of the funniest, sweetest, most relatable queens in Drag Race history. It baffles my mind, that Michelle was unable to see his personality shine through. Yes, he was soft spoken and "in character" but I feel she really had it out for him, for no apparent reason. You shouldn't have to be loud and obnoxious to win or be a finalist on the show. Look at Jinkx, for example. They're very similar to me, but the only difference was Jinkx didn't resemble Michelle in any way. Ben's look was kinda like Michelle, but not really. To be honest, it seems to me like Michelle picks one queen every season that she doesn't like, for no good reason, and doesn't shut up about it until they're gone. Judges should be objective about their critique, and she's not.
Yes. She seems to have something personal with Ben because for me DeLa was great specialy in the musical challenge. But im glad that he win the Miss Congeniality title at least.

+S. Natasha I don't think she had it out for him. I love Ben, he's an amazing actor and very funny. I think being a character queen worked against him on drag race because he - and Bianca del Rio - both usually brought the same character on the runway challenges every week and they were a bit too similar (basically, a funny, intelligent older lady character) to both stay on. Ben did some amazing things - such as the fly costume - but Bianca has been at this for longer and might have been more consistent or more entertaining to watch, since she's meaner. Bit long winded, but I think the decision was made with the reality TV show in mind, not necessarily person.
