I know it's easy to counter Rayquaza shield but that's better than all defenless goal zone where you can dunk 50 scores even with 1 bar hp left
I think he is balanced because if you run on a goal zone enemies can easily break your shield and also if you’re dead you will not receive the buff the enemy team need to focus only the champ with the shield . He is way more balanced than zap

No that just makes Rayquaza underpowered and weak . the shield shouldn’t be so easily broken otherwise it’s pointless
@@sean7923 many was to accommodate for that, you gotta push as team and maybe use goal getter aswell.
Also this shield broke that easily because decidueye is super squishy, on a tankier pokemon like blastoise it wouldnt break that easily as they have higher defense and take less damage to the shield.
The new map is more focused around team fights and less around solo carrying or flipping zapdos.

I think I liked that, really making a game focused on the point of scoring and even losing the objective still give the opportunity to win preventing the scores (sorry bad english I'm not a native speaker
It's kinda like other mobas. Now the last objective is important, but is not a turn around thing. You could easily score 500points with Zapdos if everyone on your team scored , now the thing becomes more complicated. Also there will be a raise on speedsters and pokemons focused on scoring. Speed on this map will be something to look on, being for the offense or the defense
some are saying this makes it hard for the losing team to comeback, but to me its just fair.
if youre already losing and cant get ray, why would you deserve to win the match?
and if you ARE winning and loose rayquaza, its not a completely lost match cuz of one mistake
also, if youre losing and get ray, its likely at least 2-3 on your team will score, meaning if you werent that far behind you might win
I have a feeling goal getter is gonna be meta. Everyone will score 100 points in ljke 1.5 seconds.
The unite move thing only works because you break the score shield with your unite and then use an attack who damages the enemy Pokémon
(Except for charizard since true damages go through shields so it’s able to stop scorings)

You forgot about True Damage, where the damage went through the shield, even defence and sp. Defence. Perhaps you could try Absol Psycho Slash and Tyranitar Ancient Power?
Update: Tyranitar and other Pokémon that can do True Damage can PIERCE through the Rayquaza shield and stop the scoring since the scoring stops when your health drops. It's very interesting!
Ttar's true damage can get through the shield. As long as the shield is there, the scoring becomes unstoppable, which means you really have to destroy the shield

I had a game where I was gardevoir and my opponent team got ray but we still won as I dragged the opponent deci, greninja, cinder into black hole and after 2-3 future sight, they were finished even with shield lmao

Two types of Shield Scoring:
Buddy Score Shield and Rayray
-Buddy Score Shield
Back then before the nerf of both items, Crustacean Cake, Dragonite, Wiggly, and Talon are the most troublesome goaler if they both have items. Reason why? Before the Nerf, Buddy Barrier shield will be depleted first before Score Shield shield. And now the role is reversal which is Why Pikazsu said "One Unite and single Auto attack"

I don't play Test Server but Rayquaza being there to replace Electrocuted Birb and more balanced than Zapdos. Just like how Lucario pound that Decidueye Hard, Owl's shield got depleted and somebody else can "Stop" Decidueye from Scoring. Unlike Zapdos scoring which is Require a "Kill" to prevent scoring, Rayray scoring only require you to Deplete enemy Shield

One on my list how to counter those players who got Rayquaza shield is Snorlax's shield and Treevenant. I think it will be very effective.

I don’t know if I like this change. Maybe if they made it a bit harder to stop the scoring. I guess it does force teams to wipe the opposing side.
I hope i can also practice on that map. I've play in that map for like only 3 times but now i can't because every time i tried to play in pts I've been stuck in matchmaking for more than 5mins. But thanks to this video now i know Decidueye have an advantage in the final stretch because his unite move can easily reach rayquaza without being in the pit with other players.
Btw what are those circle glowy thingy beside Decidueye????
increase ur movement speed
If someone gets in the way of ur unite it wont reach rayquaza.
Its easy to stop a decidueye from stealing any objective with his unite, just stand in the way and block him from damaging the objective.
Same for lucarios power up punch, if u stand between him and zapdos or dreadnaw, he cant last hit it because he will hit you instead.
@@funkymonkey981 just long range chuck a lucario ult with stacked attack weight for steals, works like a charm.
His spirit shackle is a WAY better secure, since it pierces and functions like an execute. His let is actually kind of lackluster, since it roots him, and the arrows are single target only, meaning that if someone stands in the way, they'll absorb the damage and it won't hit the target.
It is like blissey ult now you can think what will happen when three enemies rushing after you and you take machamp

Just so everybody knows, you don’t need to use your unite move to break score shield or the RayQ shield. You just have to deal enough damage to get rid of the grey health. Score shield items health bar can be removed very easily and doesn’t stack with other shield sources. RayQ probably the same exact way but it’s a much bigger shield. If someone’s trying to score a/ RayQ shield, just dps the hell out of them

true. idk how many times I walk pass the enemy with full energy and just insta scored. bc I know if I lived I have an insta score. with this. this may prevent from ppl just running it down. at least now, when we are getting hit going to go score or attacking someone that is going to go score, we have a chance to break the shield and stop them.
I never said it wasn’t going to be easy, but it’s definitely possible especially if your teams working together, also characters that cc through the shield’s like snorlax’s block will help give enough time to break the shields

If you're testing with score shield, you might need to retest because I hear they changed score shield a while back to take damage priority meaning Crustle's Unite shield doesn't apply to the item anymore (I haven't tested myself but it's from credible sources)
You get a bigger shield with rayquaza, about half of your remaining HP, scoreshield only gives you like 10% HP, so rayquazas shield is harder to break (good thing), thanks for showcasing both, very helpful info!

Dumb randoms will always find a way. I've had several games we even win Zap, but instead of going back to defend, they just roam stupid until killed and the enemy can counter score easy. I've also had several people who are "defending" top just let rotom in because they are farming fkng cornfish. The game will definitely be more fair in who has been winning all game, rather than lose it because your randoms derp at Zap.
I've not seen well all new buffs, but not having that extra level with dread should balance a bit more the game as well, and not get snowballed that hard if people are not rotating, and give you more chance to get back up.
Absolutely incredibly balanced compared to Zap. Can’t believe they made Unite SIGNIFICANTLY better with a change just like that.

@@Lurihoo91 The thing is that Tyranitar does true damage on top of it's already normal damage, so it will probably break the shield and kill you at the same time (if not killing before the shield actually goes down).

I believe the best you can do is not let them reach the goal zone in the first place by using stun moves. The new Pokemon mew will be able to use solar beam to try to secure zapdos and then instantly change to surf to go score or defend
the their are only 3 things which can counter rayquaza sheild :- snorlax block , slowbros unite and gengar (gengar could one shot the sheild using dream eater withing 1.5 sec if you are skilled and in just 2.5 hex)

I can't wait for Rayquaza to finally come out it'll be so balanced and we'll actually win no more that zapdos cheese all team play and strategy no coin flips! I guess waiting a year to hop into YT wasnt a bad idea has come a long way
I don't know if Rayquaza is more balanced. Maybe somewhere in between what it is now and like Zapdos. What I do like though is that it has given a lot more power and urgency to regieleki, since scoring during the regular game is super important, being able to make those easy, large dumps is very helpful.
I also don't even think this game is very fair or balanced as it is, simply given that there isn't a pick/ban mode so you never know who you're going up against, with more or less randomized advantages sprinkled throughout (more battle enhancers for those willing to pay for a battle pass every time, emblems, and the fact that they don't separate solo/duo queue from team play.)

It is more efficient to break rayaquaza sheild with glaceon icicle spear on its unite move area

Snorlax style of rayquaza steal is op go to rayquaza when it's hp is 1 % and do heavy slam with attitude it steal
f zapdos was my saviour in soloq hell becuz it makes the game not one sided. and I can just secure it and most of my team would just score and we win. but this is pretty interesting. I think it makes matches pretty dependent on scoring in early game and in late game. and not just take zapdos and win. it will make like tournaments more interesting with rayquaza.
Gardevoir's moonblast can stun and pause the enemy from scoring for a bit

Ray is balanced we were able to turn a game just by counter uniting them hard and let our goal getter do 100 score and we just follow after that.
Finally snorlax will be meta again and not just an op realease date defender

Unite moving before using score shield doesn’t do anything anymore. They nerfed it to where it doesn’t stack with other shields, so any damage that breaks that initial shield will stop the scoring
wut? did u even watch this video? did u see that dragonite extreme speed can stop it after using it is unite?
if I watch carefully u will notice that machamp can't stop cramorant and snorlax helping with his block to drag him out
@@pokezard2984 Dragonite ES stopped the scoring because the little bit of shield that is actually stoping the enemies from interrupting, the Score Shield one, is broken between the ult and the ES? Remember that SS doesnt stack with BB or with unite shields anymore, so only doing a little damage you can stop anyone even when they have a huge grey chunk in their HP bars

Easily the biggest nerf to Zapdos is it no longer disable score zone healing
Duraludons dragon tail can also stop someone from goaling

I believe many pokemon in those tests were able to stop "unstopable" only because of the damage they dealt to the enemy. Score Shield was nerfed a few patches ago and It now takes just a little bit of damage to break thus stoping the scoring pokemon. Snorlax Block and Slowbro Unite were the only legit "stop the unstopable" in this video. I'm not sure with Trevnant Horn Leach can also push the enemy while they are scoring ... either way thanks for the video!
And YES! Rayquaze will make the game a lot more balanced. Finally no more flip = wins

Any Pokemon with burn can easily stop them honestly. I was trying to score in the new map and the Charizard used flamethrower at me. It stopped me from scoring and eventually took the shield off
didnt score shield get nerfed so that the score shield shield gets eaten first? in which case the methods dont really mattter for rayquaza- i think the only ways to stop rayquaza score is either remove shield, slowbro unite, snorlax block, maybe a crustle wall, and true damage like tyrannitar and charizard
why not u test it by ur self maybe ask ur friends help so u will find the truth by ur self

Does Tyranitar's true damage just stop them right away?
The true damage itself doesn't because it doesn't affect the shield. However, Tyranitar does true damage on top of normal physical damage, allowing it to attack both the shield and the HP of enemies all at once, which means after the shield is gone you're gonna be KOed right away, if not earlier considering it's current true damage output.
@@tezminator What? that is not true. Ttar does physical damage, OR true damage, he cant do both at the same time
If he does Physycal dmg, he cant thouch the actual HP, if he does true damage, he cant touch the shield, but its one or the other, you have to choose either

Rayquaza's more balanced than Zapdos...plus I think there's a way to Inflict stuns like sleep and freeze which also stops them but I'm not 100% sure of that

It's more balanced than Zapdos, but I am expecting further nerfs to Score Shield and perhaps some nerfs to Goal Getter to make it even more balanced. Make it so score shield's shield does not activate if you have Rayquaza's shield up. Reduce goal getter's speed from double to 1.5x.
