We definitely fell off with loosing our pitchers and few key players to the mlb draft and I think 1 or 2 transferred. We hit good just make to many dumb mistakes and can’t find a pitcher to save our life. We should have won a 1/3 more of the games we played this year.
I came back to this video after watching the Kentucky vs Texas A&M game today inthe postseason. Florida vs Kentucky again tomorrow for an elimination game. Its gonna be good
Florida really talks the most crap and doesn’t back it up, Shelton goes yard and they all chirping, dude you guys are 25-24 now and wasting Cags, plus Sheltons an issue because his SS play is suspect and his range is average, Florida is the best at chirping but not doing anything, love watching a gators loss
Crazy part is, the guys who blew that game were guys they were really counting on this year! Not even the lack of depth, it’s more so the ‘big guys’ have been woeful

Those expected to do well haven't, yet what may be the most alarming thing is that from the beginning of season til now the problems have been the same. The lack of development/improvement is really bad. It comes down to two possibilities, either the pitchers are who they are and to improve you'll have to recruit and hit the transfer portal, OR (and I'd hope it's this 2nd scenario because players can and should always be improving in some manner), the pitching coaches have failed and perhaps that should be addressed. Like you said, pitchers expected to carry the bulk of the work this year haven't, which means they've stalled their progress or even just regressed, and that coupled with as i said no improvement throughout the year from younger, newer pitchers points to the coaching for me. There are so many factors we could discuss or get into further, but ultimately Florida has scored plenty this season and the amount of times they've scored 7 or 8+ runs and still lost is insane. Unacceptable is probably the best word. It'll be interesting to see what they do moving forward and what changes they'll make, again i have no sec bias (except against that narcissistic incessant whistler at Vanderbilt omg 😑😑😑), but ill be paying attention to florida this offseason! Before that tho these regionals are about to be some of the best ever Im really excited for postseason college baseball!! 😁

Geez the announcers could have a little class I get why they have the radio announcers for the home team but my goodness show some respect for the opponent keep the bias to minimum

Amazing Kentucky won the game with bad base running and bad defensive plays but the Gators pitching was worse.

Cade fishers ERA is almost 8.00 in the same amount of innings he pitched last year. His ERA last year was sub 4.00 talk about a drop off.
