Another excellent episodes fellas! Can't wait to see Late Night with the Devil. Hopefully comes to VOD soon. About wrapped up with 3 Body Problem and I absolutely love it. It's funny Sean mentioned it's a show that rewards patience, which it definitely is, but I found myself thoroughly intrigued in the first episode so I was all in from the jump!
I really enjoyed the interview with Adam Wingard and loved learning about how his toothache influenced the scene for Kong's toothache problem, but what really blew my mind was hearing about his car accident and how that impacted his film making approach. I loved GXK and for me it was a movie for me because I grew up watching the Showa era movies and just love the success of Godzilla as a whole lately largely thanks to GMO!
20:09 did adam just say he was working on godzilla vs kong, a 2021 film, back when shin godzilla was getting released back in 2016? they've been planning this far back?
tom cruise for monstervse? NO just NO . he destory the dak universe for getting too much involve in production demanding too much re writing script etc ect...
You have clearly never seen Tropic Thunder. Or Austin Powers 3 where he played Austin Powers in a movie in the movie. Something like this would be perfect for the MonsterVerse. And you act as if he would only make bad movies. Have you ever seen Mission Impossible? All of the movies are great, cause Tom Cruise CARES about this Franchise.
I was never in favor of these MonsterVerse movies where it's like the 1998 Godzilla movie and we get a Godzilla that has no character, no walk or no nuhthin'. But if for the money we gonna keep doin' what we've done to wear the public down and get them to take this, I suppose if we don't again sign King Kong to bring the needed star action, yeah, we might as well sign Tom Cruise. Let's go for it.
forget Tom Cruise the only one that needs to joining the monsterverse is Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson i could totally see that happening with Dwayne being the head of G-Team in the next movie 🎥
The new movie is more indicative of the more silly era of the godzilla series. A more melodramatic movie is just NOT going to work with most audiences on a mass scale, the same that eat up the fast and furious stuff. This is more showa era. And ill be honest, monarch was a huge bore for me with almost no monster action. There is a story, the center of earth has a civilization of people that use crystals to shape their environment. Skull island is just a Vietnam Nostolgia thing. Now going back into a new movie I think they should lean back godzilla centric and humans attacking him and godzilla despite this has to fight off a kaju threat like spacegodzilla/aliens. Kong should take a backseat.
I’m prefer Kong be die he no longer monster title only animal over passed generations seriously Hollywood stop using silly jokes elements Godzilla need proper treatment and no Showa era I’m sorry that not Godzilla we needs heisei era instead kratos said be better
This quote is about Batman, but it applies to Godzilla all the same: *_"Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but is certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots as the tortured avenger, crying out for mommy and daddy."_** ~ Bat Mite, Batman: The Brave and The Bold.* What I'm saying with this quotation is: A) Speak for yourself. If you don't like the Shōwa era, that's fine, but it is clearly a big influential part of the MonsterVerse and it is the era in which gave Godzilla his identity. B) If embracing the Shōwa era is the equivalent of dressing up Godzilla as a clown in your eyes, then just take what you like and leave. Nobody's holding you here at gunpoint.
Kinds of Kindness looks so much more energetic than his other films, can’t wait to learn more about the plot! Love the cast and visuals so far
I'm so happy for the bonus episodes, can't get enough of ReelBlend :)
THE BOYS ARE BACK!
Great episode again. Need Sean to wear more Spider-Man tees

Time for a new director. Godzilla x Kong was so bad.
Welcome to the Godzilla franchise lol. Most of them are schlocky nonsense. You’re either on board or you’re not.
That’s your own opinion the movie is doing very well, and it’s actually a good movie

I never want to see Tom Cruise in this Monsterverse. That'll just ruin it for me.
