Heyyy! One, I want to say congratulations on completing job Corp if you haven’t already, it’s good to see that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!!! I’m currently about to enter my trade at job corps as well to become a CMA. How long did it take you to complete the program and if you have any study tips or overall pointers on entering the trade please share them🙏🏽

Hey!! Thank you so much, there definitely is a light at the end. I’m glad I pushed through. I officially completed on the 12th. I was in trade for about 7 months. I took my last NHA test on the 3rd but they made me stay til the 12th 🫠
The main study strategy I used was repetition and finding a way to make a correlation between the question and the answer. Whether it’s bc they have the same letter twice or some other connection my mind creates.(I hope that makes sense lol) Colored pens and note cards will be your best friend.

@@Kellykadesha Thank you so much for replying. I’m a visual learner so I enjoy color coding and will take that into account along with repetition. 7 months seems obtainable, I’ve heard others take 1+ year but I just need to remain laser focused.

@@tayraoluwasesan1122 ofc! I’m always here to help. There were people in my trade that came before me but I left before them. My instructor was amazing so we did a lot of hands on. I’m praying that you have a wonderful experience. It is a heavier work load then most trades being that we get 4 certifications but it’s worth it. I have faith that you’re gonna do great 🤗

Girl Im thinking about going to Jobcorps for the same thing you did. Can you tell me the hard parts? My counselor is telling the good parts but I want to know the knitty gritty of it. How bad were the people? How is living in the dorms? We’re you able to save money while you were there? How is the Medical assistant program overall?

Btw I love you videos. Even though I’m not as active as I want to be, you are so encouraging and inspiring to the girlies on the grind like me. ❤️
