Here's a trick when you get to the store don't immediately hit Start shopping, grab a few items that's on the list ensure they are the correct items that looks the exact same like the pictures on your screen. Once you grab those items your saving more speed time and it narrows down your list so it looks like you're a faster shopper. If you use the Navigation they'll know you arrive at the store and then you'll get a notification saying to start shopping now or cancel your batch. If you know where you're going don't use the Navigation, that way they don't know you're at the store. As soon as you parked, grab a shopping cart and start grabbing the items on the list. Once you have at least 3 or 5 items in your cart, swipe shop now and scan them quick.
So make sure you READ promotions correctly, most of the time they say if you don’t reach $80 for that day, they will make up the difference, not pay you an additional $80. Just saying 💕
that’s crazy u made $60 in 5 hours! out here on long island i live by the hamptons and there’s $40, $50, 60 orders every morning so in 4 hours you can make $120!
Yeah I noticed living closer to populated areas and bigger cities and areas where there is more money you make more. I always thought instacart was for people who didn't or couldn't drive, nope its for rich people who have the money to NEVER leave home again lmao.
Buffalo NY for me and yeah guess it’s all on the algorithm and how many orders go out that day, not uncommon to see $20s-$30s here but if people don’t tip or tip low they’re doubles and triples… But i did get a brand new customer tip $35 ish yesterday so $53 to shop for 1 customer yesterday did it in 50 mins + checkout and 4 min to home to unload and swipe. I think it said 1.5 but that’s also like 10 mins to store kinda thing too. Customer even left a comment about how great i was for her family’s first time and how she’s gonna sign up for the yearly like damn if she does maybe IC could kick back a few bucks if only!
@@ashleighrose8115 yep tho they don’t always tip great, the ones with less seem to at times give more $10 tips, by me the rich tip $2-5 and you have to drive so many miles away from main roads
Great video! I started last week and like it so far! Definitely didn’t know about the promo being extra on top of what you made. Made I thought I met the batches today only to see only 3 of the 5 batches counted towards the promo! 🥴🤦🏾♀️
Glad you're enjoying it so far! The job definitely has its ups and downs, then again what job doesn't. TOTALLY can relate, that happened to me too! Make sure when you do the promos that you keep an eye on the promo green tag button that is under the orders that pop up it will say "count towards promo".
The money is good at the time of you doing the orders, etc; however, at tax time, if you don’t pay your quarterly taxes, all of that money you got will be taken away at tax time. Easy money isn’t always easy in the end.
Keep track of all miles, not just the ones from the store to the customer, and you get something like 56 cents per mile as a tax deduction. Should take taxes down to less than 5% they say. You can’t claim the miles from home to the first store, or last store to home unless you have a home office.
You want at least 1.00 per item to make it worth your time. plus tips you have to drive to store and drive to the person home so its what they say to help on the pay
I started doing full service shopper like what you're doing?...like 3 days ago...& I LOVE DOING INSTACART!!...lol ha ha No minimum wage job pay anymore... street clothes- YES, NO BOSSES OR Managers to tell u what to do...your gas is Tax deductible & u get to keep YOUR TIPS!!!
She did her thing in this video, I work a 9-5 and Instacart is the best income supplement for me. Set a goal each week so you don’t over work yourself. I drive and park at Costco’s, BJs and Sams clubs because you get bigger batches and less items. Get a pull cart so you don’t need shopping carts and communication and friendliness is key to tips. Happy shopping y’all $$$$$

Depends on where you live, most people don't put that into consideration. Yeah, in California you're gonna have to make like $50 an hour lol But where I am cost of living is low so $20-$25 is pretty solid even before taking out gas and taxes.
@@angelinah427 it depends on your area. I rarely see anything over 25 bucks. Most orders in my area are in the teens. Maybe I'm not seeing the good ones yet because I'm new though
It depends on the area. I'm in a city with a lot of universities and there's an Aldi right there. Some days I take $10-$15 batches all day long because theyre only 5-15 items and only a mile away at the most. Do that 10 ten times I've made myself $100-$150

so basically you average $10 an hour before u pay for your gas and wear on your car.
