However, ‘Tour De France’ took on a life of its own. This masterful remix by New York DJ Francois Kevorkian backed a key scene in the film ‘Breakdance’ which lead to a re-release in this reworked format. Much more percussive and less song based than the first version, it helped reinforce KRAFTWERK’s standing in the US Hip-Hop scene following their surprise embracement of ‘Numbers’ in 1981" The Electricity Club
