Thorugh accidents and exploiting other glitches in the game. This glitch is similar to botw inventory overload so maybe people found it. Hopefully this doesn't lead to game breaking exploits like in botw tho
You also just press the left or right bumper then down instead of both left + right. It's helpful to select a specific page and the timings a little easier. Also found this glitch helpful to see the inklings/octolings proportions when drawing, hopefully they don't patch it

We only get this through hacks, and even then, it seems like Nintendo knows their fans a lil _too_ much, and knew they’ll be hacking the game (and glitching in this case) to have topless inklings/octolings at some point.😅

Plus, in 1 player mode in Splatoon 2, the player character can get their clothes knocked off when taking too much damage. The models were built with the intention of being a little incidentally exposed, just not this much. EDIT* I just realized when reading this comment again that you said "necessary" not "unnecessary". Looks like I can't read. Shame I had to find out this way. I'm keeping my comment up though, because I do keep seeing people reacting surprised that the feminine models have bras on, so I think it's worth having the info out there in some capacity.
@AngelYt-xs6yyactually you can! This glitch works specifically in The Shoal, so if you leave the equip menu in the shoal after performing the glitch, you can walk around naked and you can use your weapon! Just make sure to equip a weapon AFTER performing the glitch, otherwise it won’t work.
My only problem at the moment is when I desync, my splash wall weapons names and models come up on my sprinkler weapons and I can’t find any blank weapons. Is that happening to anyone else?

I think you need to overwrite a Freshest Fit. I had a spare slot available, made a burner Freshest Fit and then overwrote that one and boom, my Inkling looks like she’s going to do pilates or something

It's unkown and kinda left up to player interpretation. While the models are all +18 in Splatoon 3 we don't know the PC's age. All we know is that inklings and octlings can join turf war when they are 14. The height of the PC's also appears to have grown since splatoon 1 (there's a minor height difference between games) but it's not know if this is intentional Edit: Throughout the games agent 3 has been 14 (splatoon 1), 16 (splatoon 2), and 20 (splatoon 3) so maybe that's it

I think it's only possible in the weapon change screen. When you exit it the glitch fixes. Also I have all the weapons and for me sprinkler was doable

I think you need to use a empty freshest then save this Glitch Gear there not use one that already has Gear saved.
