I can’t believe Wilder’s Restaurant is still there. It was there 50 years ago when I lived in Joplin, & it was an old restaurant then. Glad the tornado didn’t get that landmark.
Joplin has gone woke. A while back they had a drag queen story time at the library and on the 8,9 & 10th of September, they’re having their big LGBTQ pride celebration. A “queer” art show at the Spiva Arts Center. It’s the Joplin it once was and that’s sickening.
@@iphone8fan1 it doesn't matter. I don't want my kid to see a drag queen not be introduced to any of that LGBTQ stuff. They are too young to know about that stuff.
Man, it’s amazing to see how far this town’s rebounded since the tornado.
They never rebounded. Still rwbuilding with lack of hope and drive.
@@jayriv4220debatable. The population has continued to grow and large portions of the city have been rebuilt by now
So glad to see that not even an F5 tornado can take away the stregth and spirit of a city glad to see it rebuilt back beautifully
This town is a far cry from what it once was.

as someone who lives there trust me theres nothing good about it lol

Love the people in the back of the pickup, reminds me of my childhood. Thanks for showing us the town, looks like a nice little city.

Joplin will never be the same. But it is nice that they’ve renovated majority of Joplin
The most disgusting place I have ever been to.
