I can find this information about the device on the Xiaomi website, what about the settings, WIFI coverage, software, ease of use?
I'm torn between getting either the AX1800 and this one? The AX1800 is around half the price... What are the main benefits of getting this one instead?
One thing for sure if you can live with the Chinese to English translation using Google to read the settings, etc. This Router is Kick ass extremely fast with good range. Yes. It support legacy devices. It is Dual band 2.4G and 5G, you can keep separate SSIDs for both or setup as a Single SSID and WIFI router will automatically connect legacy devices to 2.4G.

Both are good. You can switch the language to English as well. The video was getting too long that is why i didn't go into the interface much. May be i should have.
That is not good performance for a WiFi 6 router. My Linksys WiFi 5 router gets better speeds at close range and my orbi wifi 6 router completely destroys this one in wireless speeds. It makes me question the qualification of this channel if they think that this is the performance that a wifi 6 router should get. Shop around. This is not a good router
@@cia4gent128 I have extensively tested TP Link router AX3000 Wifi 6 router, that one was cheaper and could push more data compared to this one, even through thick concrete walls. Problem with that was it is getting little warm, it didn't have some functions like creating a mesh network, or wifi brigde.
I have posted English Menu screen shots on our website dealunboxing.com. You should be able to install Google Translator in the Chrome and translate it into English.
The wireless speeds on this router for a device that is next to the router is terrible. I have the netgear Orbi and with my iPhone 11 within 5 feet of the router i get between 760 and 800 mbits. When i am in another room i get between between 550 and 600. Never drops below 475 anywhere in my house. This router for a WiFi 6 router gets slow wireless speeds. I don’t understand how this review can give this router good marks unless he has not tested other WiFi 6 routers or is basing it completely on price alone. Those are not good speeds for a WiFi 6 router with a gigabit internet connection. Shop around there are much better performing WiFi 6 routers out there.

Though Xiaomi advertises it at 1167Mbps (wifi5) and 2976Mbps. So the numbers you got are ...well bad! Even when you put your mobile in front of the router you are not getting even close to Xiaomi numbers. In my book that reads as a scam!!! Go and buy a good ASUS!!!
@São João do mundo Hmm... There night be some issues, though I never encountered them. As a bonus you can get Asuswrt-Marlin opensource firmware as a bonus. Sorry mate but I do believe that you did something wrong or it might happen that you got a detective device in a first place. Anyways this Xiaomi toy ...well is a toy.

Good review, going to get one and test out. Does Mi have a proper mesh satellite for this unit or do they just use any other Mi mesh supported router?
They don't have mesh unit. It is standalone WiFi 6 router

J. C lol stop lying! This router reached the max 1Gb ! If the wan port was more than 1Gb it can give more!

@@nitinkumar29 I have the TP AX1800...and it's trash compared to this ! the CPU overheats easily and can't handle a lot of devices.
