I love how much you care for ALL your animals, and nothing is too much trouble for their comfort. Bob had a wonderful life with the two of you and I am sure he loved every second.
Aw what a great way to help an old dog! Glad there is still sound on here, I miss your chatter, when it is just the subtitles and now back ground sound. It just brings so much to the video.. including the birds!
love the little paw print detail I met many stiles when I did the Coast to Coast trail in England. Never a one and fun and friendly as this. I thought at the last, however, both dogs getting wedged in trying to navigate at the same time was a real punchline for the effort.
I loved this video, because l once had the SWEETEST O.E. Sheep dog named Poppy who lived close to 14yr . And I used to trim her the same. It brought back such fond memories of her to see your Bob! Bob is well worth the labor of love to add to his quality of life :-)
linnie nolan Goodness! 14 years? We didn't realize OE sheepdogs could live that long. There's hope for Bob then. (Better start feeding him again. Just kidding!) You're right, they are wonderful dogs. : - )
How ingenious. And what a lot of work! Bob must be a very good dog. I had a wonderful black lab named Ben who died last year at 15. Miss him dreadfully. (I named this account after him!)
As soon as I saw the title of this video, as fast as I could, I clicked on it (I always look forward to you folks videos :) ). I sure did not know what a stile was, but with the title "For the Love of Bob", it had to be something very special...and it is! Am happy for you, that's one fine table saw, gosh it seems to cut through the wood like butter. Oh and your belt sander, so impressive...my husband wants one for his upcoming birthday, just hope can find one that is reasonable and as well made as yours...crossing my fingers! You folks stile is splendid and touching. Now that it is built, you folks and your faithful companions can cross the divide easily. This is one of my favorite videos you folks share, TY for taking us along to see how it can be done! Mrs. Tc
Oh, I know the feelings. When my darling mutt began to have problems with the back veranda stairs I naturally just rebuilt a suitable staircase. I know the feelings.
As soon as the cat had lapped up the milk, the cat began to kill the rat; the rat began to gnaw the rope; the rope began to hang the butcher; the butcher began to kill the ox; the ox began to drink the water; the water began to quench the fire; the fire began to burn the stick; the stick began to beat the dog; the dog began to bite the pig; the little pig in a fright jumped over the stile; and so the old woman got home that night.

L'Arc de Bob! :)
What bread is Bob? Sheep dog maybe?
pam p Well, he was a rescue dog, so we don't know for sure, but, yes, we think he is an Old English Sheep Dog.
oh bob....
Why didn't you build a gate for everyone to go in and out? Why make the people climbe over?
Great idea for the old dog :)
Thanks Daniel!
