The best thing about Ricciardo is that, even if the critics manage to get him out of a F1 car, he'll probably just get a job doing crazy things in the paddock for some TV network, and there's no driver that will ever say "no" to one of his get togethers... F1 just can't stand losing him.

I think Ricky Ardo err Ricciardo just has a funny sense of humour and he likes to lighten things up when all the other F1ers are getting too intense etcetera. That is sorta an Aussie outlook and style. Some others from other countries have trouble understanding our strange sense of humour I feel. Every country is different. That is life.
