Go to Funds Transfer and choose NEFT. There you will get an option to select when you want to send the money. There it will be Pay Now by default, change it to Standing Instruction. Additional options related to it will come. You can put those.

This option can only be viewed or deleted if the standing instruction is added through netbanking and not the one's allowed by signing a merchant's form. This is the message from the HDFC Bank site: "Only Standing Instructions/Schedule Payments set through NetBanking can be viewed/deleted."
As per my consultancy with the HDFC bank people, you have to write an application addressing to the branch manager about the SI stating, from which account to which account and what amount is transferred on which day of the the month. The process may take couple of days to complete and you will be notified via a mail or SMS for the status. I am about to submit that application.

it only allows to modify/delete if SI was created via netbanking. how do I delete it if it was done via branch?
