my grandma died in 2013 and this song reminds me that my grandma has brought me to kindergarten. She died of lung cancer when she was in the hospital and was unable to take part in her clearance because it had been too bad for me and I wish I had been there.
Whenever I think of this song, I think of how I graduated from middle school and got my certificates for doing well and other stuff in 8th Grade. I got off my bus and take a walk looking around and thinking about how fun middle school was and elementary, including the sad moments. On my way back home, I think about high school and the college and how my life beyond will feel and look like. I look at the mirror and I just burst into tears because EVERYDAY, I change.

(Broadmoor) I am 19 now, and I am the youngest out of 8, still live with my dad, and I am moving out very soon, just finnished studying. I watch my dad allot, he's 65 now, and I know he doesn't have long left, he's even said so himself, which is very painful to take in. I find my life has sorta flashed before my eyes. I lost out on allot of advantages, such as school (due to a mental breakdown) I am broke, and don't have much. But, what I do have, is love, hope and chances. Those three things, that are the most powerfulest and important things you could want, they are gifts, a rare one, that we all share, in our own individual way. My love gives me hope, my hope gives me chances, and my chances gives me life. Now it's time, to set my mind at ease, so I can start my own family, meet the girl of my dreams, and share my stories to people around the world. I find, that, no matter how hard my life has been, I've always been the lucky one. I feel sorry for people, not just from around the world, but for all people in pain. I pray, that one day, we all unite, and help one another, but those dreams are slowly dying, looking at todays society. (what a shame) This song literally puts me at ease, because it shows me that this mad world we live in, can have such beauty, given to you. Thank you carly for sharing that :)

It's not too late. I was self taught from like 13 to 18 and I stopped playing :( I'm 27 now but I'm going to do it again!! Biggest mistake was quitting. I played by ear too! I did try grades n just skipped to grade 6 but it took my love from it prefer by ear and composing x

my grandma died in 2013 and this song reminds me that my grandma has brought me to kindergarten. She died of lung cancer when she was in the hospital and was unable to take part in her clearance because it had been too bad for me and I wish I had been there.
Whenever I think of this song, I think of how I graduated from middle school and got my certificates for doing well and other stuff in 8th Grade. I got off my bus and take a walk looking around and thinking about how fun middle school was and elementary, including the sad moments. On my way back home, I think about high school and the college and how my life beyond will feel and look like. I look at the mirror and I just burst into tears because EVERYDAY, I change.
Makes me think, of all my life really.
My mothers death, my girlfriend leaving me, brother getting locked in a mental hospital for the criminally insane. (Broadmoor)
I am 19 now, and I am the youngest out of 8, still live with my dad, and I am moving out very soon, just finnished studying.
I watch my dad allot, he's 65 now, and I know he doesn't have long left, he's even said so himself, which is very painful to take in.
I find my life has sorta flashed before my eyes.
I lost out on allot of advantages, such as school (due to a mental breakdown) I am broke, and don't have much.
But, what I do have, is love, hope and chances.
Those three things, that are the most powerfulest and important things you could want, they are gifts, a rare one, that we all share, in our own individual way.
My love gives me hope, my hope gives me chances, and my chances gives me life.
Now it's time, to set my mind at ease, so I can start my own family, meet the girl of my dreams, and share my stories to people around the world.
I find, that, no matter how hard my life has been, I've always been the lucky one.
I feel sorry for people, not just from around the world, but for all people in pain.
I pray, that one day, we all unite, and help one another, but those dreams are slowly dying, looking at todays society. (what a shame)
This song literally puts me at ease, because it shows me that this mad world we live in, can have such beauty, given to you.

Just by ear (i can read sheets, but turtle speed), learning the songs i like, but i don´t REALLY know how to play, just memory... Im almost 27 now, do you think is still worth it to learn piano or is it too late? I really hope you were able to learn it.
It's not too late. I was self taught from like 13 to 18 and I stopped playing :( I'm 27 now but I'm going to do it again!! Biggest mistake was quitting. I played by ear too! I did try grades n just skipped to grade 6 but it took my love from it prefer by ear and composing x

It's in A minor because the first chord on the first beat of the song is A minor, the last chord of the last beat is A minor and because it uses an E major chord (E G# B). These 3 things make it more closely related to A minor than C major, saying this song is in C major is like saying that red is a shade of yellow because they're both colours. In B locrian the chord progression is vii - V - II - IV but this doesn't make sense because of the chord alterations (making major to minor and vice versa) and because now the degrees of the scale have no significance. TLDR; A minor because C major makes as much sense as B locrian
