Finally... a video that focuses on the men that make it happen rather than the pigs who sign the checks!

I am so thankful that there are people that will spend their wealth to save these historical masterpieces. I love the beautiful outcome of all the hard work. It takes a lot of money o do these projects. I am not wealthy or I would be saving History also. As an afterthought , try thanking many of the wealthy for the contributions they make to their communities instead of resenting them for their wealth. Please save another treasure.

Dear Mr Kessler and the Architect team, One thing that is rarely noticed on these types of high-end projects is that it brings all the trades up to a higher standard. This is a very good thing as every trade learns to "up" their game, making for better trades people. Thank you Mr Kessler and the Architecture team. You deserve a very big "Well Done". From a journeyman carpenter in Canada.

Everyone always talks about the person who paid for the work, and that’s cool. But no one mentions the craftsmanship and artistry of the workers who created something that lasted and will continue to last because of their talents.

The good news is the deer head is made entirely of wood. Thanks for comment!

Remarkable! I love the videos on the history of the Armstrong home and the preservation process. As an interior designer, I am so grateful to see restoration projects like this and commend everyone for taking on such a big challenge. I love that so many share in my appreciation for history and the preservation of one of a kind gems like the Armstong Mansion. Thank you to everyone involved. I hope to some day see it in person.

I did a RUclips search for "historic mansion" and was absolutely captivated when this video came up. I was immediately drawn in. You could see the passion in the foreman's narration and knowledge of the house that he had an invested interest in its restoration. He's the guy I would want on my site if I was building a mansion (after winning the lottery!). Hats off to all the construction workers, labourers, painters, restorers, cleaners, movers and interior designers who dedicated so much love and time into making this project a huge success. it just kept getting better--trees brought in, statuary, bronzes, etc. and then the furniture arrived. The stage was set! Everyone should take a bow.
    Awesome!
    Darryl
Is the boar a copy of the "wild boar" in the Uffizi?

Thank you! You are correct about the boar. Some more history about the mansion: ruclips.net/video/nwefrBGL70c/видео.html

Splendid. I've loved this house my whole life. Not overly sure about the new pig fountain but I think I'll learn to love it, too.

I agree with you about the fountain. I’d like to know how they decided on that.
There are so many beautiful homes in Savannah, but this one has always been in my top 3.
