Edit 1:And also, for the people who think this is CANON. In the manga/comic, the mother and parents gave birth to Anya. And then scientists kidnapped them and experimented on them. The mum and dad failed the experiment but Anya's was successful. And then she was dragged away and put for adoption after touch ups, where Loid found her.
