    Can you put the effects loop send/return in the pedal part of the chain? It says in the owners manual it comes as the last part of the chain, but I dont think any od or anything will sound good after an amp and cab. So it it possible to put it the effects loop before the end of the chain?

    Hello, can you activate more than 2 pedal effects at the same time?

    Do all those effects and amp models play through the amp to the speakers ?

    In the market for a new bass amp and i need one that wont break the bank,my back and easy to load in my car. Im guessing this will be great to use live?

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  3 года назад +1

      It is - especially the sounds that you can send to the house PA (modeling). One thing to consider is, that it might not be as "quick" or "straightforward" as a traditional, no frills amp. More options, more stuff to play with. It's incredibly loud, and has a lot of power - so from that aspect you can cover a lot. It's liek having several amps in one.

      My friend recommended me getting either a 2x10 or 4x10 with it as well. My bands playing some bigger venues over the summer

      Some presets sound nice and analog, some sound a bit harsh and digital.

    Is it like rumble 500 where you need extension cab to get full wattage?

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  3 года назад

      Yes that is the truth! 800Watts into 4Ohm, 400 into 8Ohm. But that is A LOT of power!!!!

    Hi, it's maybe worth to mention which bass guitar you were using and how tone controls were set. I think Marcus Miller P7 (P bass) with ash body and all tone controls in mid position? Active or passive mode?

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  2 года назад

      Great point! This was a Marcus Miller Gen 1 , P7 (so the PJ bass). I would typically play this in passive mode, with a 55/45 mix of Neck/Bridge (so a tiny bit more neck, but not much). That should be it for most sounds - I may have switched to active without saying it for a few moments- but I don't remember that. It was a really good bass - I regret selling it.

    Did you record the DI out for this video or was it audio recorded from the camera?

    Do those lines on right of display mean your display already has faults… anyone out there can chime in if these have a known issue of the display failures

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  2 года назад

      NO, in my case that is just the difference in frame rates between camera and LED display. The eye cannot see that, only with my camera - as basically cam and display are out of sync. That said, I want a sharper, bigger, OLED display at that price point and with touch screen.

    When you use the post DI out and raise the master amp volume does it change the DI output volume or does it only effect the amps volume

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  3 года назад

      If I recall correctly - these are separate volumes, so did not affect. If someowne else can weigh in.

    Since this models some older bassman amps (and also effects pedals) that were used for guitar, could you also use this Rumble 800 as a guitar amp?

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  4 года назад +2

      Probably so. With 2 2x10 speakers and great emulation over USB/headphones and tons of tweak options, you'd get a thick sound. Some of the pedals and algorithms come from the Fender Mustang guitar amp series I bet.

    How do you like your marcus miller bass?

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  2 года назад +1

      I really love it! The setup on this one was also really good. And I like them so much that I bought a V5, another V7 /5 String and a P10.

      🤣 haha.true ! For the record, not a fan of distortion either - but I felt I had to give in, as that is what the current bass craze seems to be. Thanks for watching Clyde.

      Maybe it is easier to model the other amps with a 2x10 , since 12" are more mid range / jazzy sounding?

    • @bobsbasscovers
      @bobsbasscovers 3 года назад

      @@massivebeatzz more midrange than 10?I was implying I would want more low end from it.

    • @massivebeatzz
      @massivebeatzz  3 года назад +1

      @@bobsbasscovers that is sadly not how 12" speakers affect bass amps. It brings out that jazzy tone. Most jazz bass combos are 12, while the rest is 10 or 15. Not saying it's impossible - just not with conventional speaker design.
