- So I went on solo travel to Cusco, Peru which is the city that you go first before you travel to Machu Picchu. Had to buy a poncho in Feria Artesenal which is a must to have when you want a nice photo at the Machu Picchu.

Oh this brings back so much memories when i went to Cusco in 2017. I loved it. It was like going back in time to and learning about how my ancestors used to live in this region. I really did loved the indigenous aspects of life there And it was a big step away from modern life in order to see the sights there as well as going to Machu Picchu and seeing how indigenous people are still living to this day. Made me appreciate being a Peruvian and I would definitely come back.

Cuzco is one of my favorite cities in Peru and its the best place to buy alpaca I think besides the outskirts of Arequipa. I cant wait for the videos that will follow. HAVE FUN!

Always amazed at the 1st thing people ask me all these years of travelling (since I was 23 now 72...soon to Peru) is who r u going with? Never understood that question? Why do u HAVE to HAVE someone with you? OMG...I've enjoyed so many incredible experiences and met so many people travelling alone that I wld most likely never have met or experienced w/a companion.
