Reviewed this camera before I bought it,all the reviews were positive, so I took the plunge. The only extra thing to buy was the 128gb card, so for £60 i had a complete WiFi camera.i fitted the camera onto the garage to view my driveway wow, quality is amazing and the connection for movement is brilliant would definitely recommend.
I don't have one but from experience with other models, if you have an outdoor camera with motion detection you need to be able to zone off things like bushes and trees that keep moving in the wind, otherwise you get too many false notifications. A camera with PIR detection is probably a much better bet for external use as it won't, or shouldn't get set off by bugs, vegetation moving etc. Also be wary of the battery cameras, they tend to start recording a few seconds after being triggered and can totally miss the event. They generally record up to 30 second clips, continuous recording isn't an option. If a camera only records when triggered it ideally needs to be able to record from a few seconds before the trigger event. i.e. It needs a video buffer. I have found 24 hour recording to be the best option as you can view video from before the trigger which often reveals details that can get missed.
Nice looking cam. I got 2 C200's and they work very well also for $50 each. Had to turn of notifications in garage as the night vision was tripping off from bugs flying to it. Do like the hardwired network option of C150 and 128gb storage that is secured 👍 Thanks Pat
I know this is a late response but if you set up the sensitivity settings you won't have that issue. Yes, it does take a few times. You also can turn the sensitivity and use third-party software as I do and record all to an External HDD connected to my router.
I have had this camera for over 6 months now, and I regret it. Motion detection is tripped by rain even on it's lowest setting, meaning I get continuous notifications even when it's drizzling
