    Nice to know you never run out of good tails near your home! Love all the Bristlecone Pine trees. Intense, but worth the view!

      Yeah there are still some trails near me that I have not done yet and this happened to be one of them! Those trees are so old and beautiful. Very intense hike but obviously very worth it! Thanks Randy!

    Gotta love those Bristlecone Pine trees Eric! and that view from the summit, Wow! Makes it all worth while when you get great hiking weather👍👍👍

    Prefect day for hiking. Not to hot, not to cold and clear sky's and some amazing landscape. Love the Bristlecones to, they are very unique. Great hike Eric.

    Those trees are amazing, definitely the view from top is awesome. Looks like tough trail with hot temperatures, but it’s worth it. Thanks for wonderful sharing 😍👍🤗

      Well it is a tough trail but luckily it wasn't as hot as it looked on film it was just was a really Sunny day. Yeah those trees are beautiful and so old! Old! Thank you so much for watching my friends! I really appreciate it.

    Those are some of the most interesting looking trees!! Looks like a beautiful, steep hike. Really well worth that view of all the mountains in the distance though. Great video!!

    Very cool, Eric! I did this hike for the first time the other day. But instead doing the out and back, after Fletcher, I continued to the Raintree, then down Trail Canyon Trail. My wife dropped me off and picked me up on the other side. It was awesome! 👍👊😎

    Definitely a stunning area those old trees are simply amazing. I'm glad you had some unchartered territory to explore. Beautiful views. And so glad that there isn't any smoke yet. Definitely eat a good breakfast first 😋 quite a climb but so worth it.

      Yeah this hike definitely takes some preparation beforehand but it can be done! Seeing the old Bristlecone Pine Trees never gets old ever! It was definitely a very hard hike with a big reward the whole way through so it makes it totally worth it! Thank you so much Nicole I really really appreciate it!

    The sky is a striking blue color isn't it. Very clear indeed! Vegas has some really amazing hikes doesn't it. Great video as always!

    Nice video! I hiked Fletcher Peak last fall and it was tough, but very rewarding. Raintree is just 5 minutes beyond the junction and is worth visiting too.

      Yeah definitely is tough but very rewarding at the same time. Not as hard as Griffith Peak or Charleston Peak but still hard! Raintree I've been too many times so I just decided to skip it but it is a sight to see. I appreciate your comments and thank you so much for watching..

    Great way to beat the Vegas heat! Nice footage of the Bristle Cones and that big cliff to the west (Mummy Mountain?). I really love this area, it's such a contrast to the hot valley below. Thanks for the video, Eric! ~ Mike

      Yeah I think that is Mummy Mountain but I'm not a 100% sure. Yeah the escape from the heat was definitely really nice. It's really the closest option for cool temps in the summer. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Great video! I did the north loop to charleston peak and back a few weeks ago and loved all the bristlecone pines along the way. Now i need to go back and do this one. Thanks for sharing

    the view from Fletcher Peak was amazing well worth the pain going up ( not a cloud in the sky to hide anything )and yes I could tell even from the video it was a steep hike up, you might get out of breathe sometimes going up but what about coming back down I find the decline hard on my knees now, cool seeing though odd shaped trees and the little bit of history on them, till the net time take care brother

    Low 70s would suit me more and just as well with a canny pull like that. Mind you the views were stunning from the top, very awesome indeed. Just as well the temps were not in the high 90s mind, cheers Alan

      Yes you will never catch me hiking in the high 90s ever lol 😆. The temperature and clear sky were great for hiking and filming. I totally enjoyed hiking to the top of Fletcher Peak for the first time! Thanks for watching brother.

    That was a nice video my friend! I will have to try that hike someday. My nephew and I went to the rain tree in January, snow was deep and brutal, got turned around many times but eventually made it to rain tree. Thanks for the great video!
