My goodness, the design of what people want isn't THAT hard. Take a Microsoft Surface DUO, and put e-ink screens on both sides and call it a day. I've heard it's because they don't actually make two eink screens that can talk to one another or something, is that true?
Android 10 in 2024 and no upgrades planned, reflective glass over e-ink, absurd bezels, no Wacom layer for the LCD screen, heavy weight. There are some good ideas there, but the execution seems terrible. You'd be better off buying a separate Galaxy Tab and a Boox e-ink tablet than this. They should treat it as a proof of concept / prototype, and make a better device for consumers.
I'm sorry, we are a little bit confused. There's nothing more we can show on this device. There's no synergy between the two panels. We showed the devices capabilities in this current video so there's nothing more that we are excluding
Many thanks for the great review! Unfortunately, the product seems to be rather disappointing, many missed opportunities and definitely no replacement for the Yoga Book.
Yikes… looks and feels like a product from 2010s. A thick bezel for the LCD and a bezel within a bezel for the e-ink display are not acceptable for a portable device in 2024. The LCD looks like of the low quality ones with bad color tuning and contrast from cheap OEM Chinese android tablets. It needs a lot of work to be successful.

“South of the Mississippi”?
That’s a new one. 😂

All good points :)
This is quite amazing technology. Hoping for a more in-depth review soon.

Does the Eink screen work in portrait mode? Or does it only work in landscape mode?
Oh, by the way, on the kickstarter page they said that they just can't update android to something more recent, so that won't be fixed in the future.
Dear lord, it's like looking at two half-babies glued to have at least one working!
They should rechristen it "AshuraPad"
Hmm, I thought this could replace my surface duo. But it's disappointing if it's android 10.
I'd love this in a refined form like the Surface Duo.

Thanks.
Why are the frames so small? It was necessary to do 10 centimeters.
Cancelled my pledge. Way too many compromises.
better off with the lenovo yogabook C930
"updated by a simple update from android 10 in the future", you are dreaming
Sorry but can you say something about the audio quality and screen quality (LCD I mean).
what a calamity
I thought the android 10 limitation was because the chip that supports dual screens only works up to android 10.

It is running Android 10? Android 11 is already obsolete!
They should open the platform for Linux.
