I love this so much. 'No Confluence' is such a great name. Two equal and opposing bodies, intrinsically intertwined but never once touching. Little do they know their differences are all surface level, and on the inside they share more with each other than they realize. Two distinct rivers who were, a very long time ago, one. Perfect for this age of extremes

I love the snakes so much. It's hypnotic because so many of the patterns aren't entirely convincing. It's an illusion that is visible enough to keep the eyes engaged but still definitely appears real. The 2d and 3d, are parts that make up the whole, the background being static or dynamic. It's just hard to get my head around and I love it.

I am not a fan and this is the first I have ever heard of Umami. I stumbled upon this video somehow while I was scrummaging through RUclips last night. This isn't my usual style of music (not that I have a specific style) but for some reason I didn't click on a different video while listening to this. I began reading the comments while listening and noticed that there were no negative comments which is not normal for RUclips comments. As the music played I began to settle into a calm trance like mood. I ended up closing my eyes and laying back while listening. I could FEEL the music as if it was an emotional expression from within myself. I can understand now why there wasn't any negative comments here. This is real. This was created by a musical artist. I could feel it (whatever "it" is). Keep putting this out for all to experience because it is something that is for the world. Your gift is really our gift being moved through you. Before I realized it I had fallen asleep and I am sure I wouldn't have if not for your music. It sedated me in a good way. To sum it up I just want to say Thank you and you are inspirational. This is REAL.

There's so much more detail in the animation of the snakes than I originally thought there was. At first I thought they were going through one rotation per loop, but the tongues and the dots on their bodies suggest 4 rotations per loop. Their tongues match the other snake's eye color. And I enjoyed changing the way the debris in the background flew by thinking about it differently. I stared at the snakes for the entire 26 and a third minutes, sometimes getting lost in the animation of the snakes and other times getting lost in the beautiful music. When it got to the end I was surprised time flew so fast because of how much I enjoyed it :)

Again your music has followed me throughout my life the last couple of years, so I'm really glad to hear another album of yours. It's been there in the lonely bus rides during my last year before graduating and that weird liminal time where I had no idea what to do with life which I'm still in. These last 3 years made me feel like I won't move on and will be stuck in place forever but your works make me feel less lonely when going through it all and finally finding a way to move on.

My favorite animator is turning into my favorite lo-fi musician as well! The texture and atmosphere created with this and other music is unbelievable.
