I love the old MSU fan sitting in row 1, just saw his team win on one of the biggest moments in the history of that rivalry, and he's like "alrighty Gene we better get a head start and beat traffic".
More like, alrighty Gene, if we're going to get out of here alive, we'd better get going NOW.
I still can't get over that, five years later. Just casually zipping up his jacket. And the guy next to him is trying to pat him on the back and get a handshake. He's subdued too but man, what's up with that guy zipping up his jacket? How can you get such amazing seats to the game, witness one of the craziest endings to a game in history, and just be completely apathetic? Does he not realize what just happened?

As an MSU alum Ive watched this 1000 times and it never gets old. All I can think of for UM fans is that old SNL skit when Will Forte keeps screaming "ohh no" over and over again.

Pre 1936, Michigan claims 10 titles, but some of those years they literally played one or two high school teams (no joke) The first 33 meetings between these schools were all played in Ann Arbor and MSU wasnt even a state accredited college, with no scholarship athletes....since joining the Big Ten (against Michigans wishes) the series sits at 35-29-2, hardly the 68-38-5 narrative we often get thrown in our faces, but dont let facts get in the way of a good story.

I was in Infantry basic when this game came around. I was an actively loud Michigan State fan and my Senior Drill Sergeant was a big Wolverines fan. He talked so much shit to me but promised to tell me the outcome. I had the biggest shit eating grin when he told me. Had to do a metric fuck ton of push ups though. Werf.

+Devonta Servance Are you unaware of how bad MSU's kicking game has been this season? Their kicker is 1 for 2 on field goals of less than 30 yards and 3 for 6 on field goals between 30-39 yards. You really think he had any chance of kicking a 54 or 55 yard field goal? Probably why the MSU player that picked up the ball didn't down it inside the 10 instead of taking it all the way and risking getting tackled short of the goal line, which would have ended the game cause no time would be left on the clock.
