Thank you for the fabulous photography. Yours is the best site I've seen by far. Great music also. Congratulations, from an acid Volcano Fan in Australia. Wish I was there!!!
This is the BEST video of the volcano - precisely because only a drone camera could see it from those angles. The views are fantastic, extremely colorful, and steady as a rock! The choice of background music is very appropriate and sets a mood as majestic as the volcano. This is five star work!
Thank you. It was so cold that my fingers were pretty numb after the first 5 minutes, so I just got the drone up there and hit "record video". All credit to the drone and the volcano; I was just a bystander to the event.
TOTALLY STUNNINGLY SHOT - OMG what could be a more perfect video of this crazy volcano - just when one might think it was "calling it quits"- up she boils again and again.
Thank you. I just loved how the crater fills up, then boils over, then the eruption starts. So much to look forward to whenever that lava river begins to flow.
Nice filming and music. The appearance growth and evolution of this volcano is probably one of the best photographically documented volcanoes in human history, not only will all the videos like this provide huge entertainment to those of us who are fascinated by volcanoes but will aid sciece in it's understanding of volcanoes and how lava flows develop. Good work to all of you.
Thank you. I agree. With several people flying drones every day and documenting different parts of the volcano, there will be a very solid record of a 'day-by-day movement of the lava.
Finally! A quality Video. I've seen so many videos on RUclips that have the poorest quality and zoom in and out and all over the place, that I can't even watch any more. But this one.....WOW! This one deserves an award! Very beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you. Frankly, it was so cold there that after 5 minutes of flying I could barely feel my thumbs and index fingers (the four digits that control the flight of the drone), so I pretty much just let it hang there and take the video.
You really know how to set up a shot! I've watched a great number of videos of this event and yours is excellent! The music is effective without being intrusive.
Thank you. With the volcano being the clear star of the video (as opposed to trying to show off any drone-flying skills), it was pretty easy to just get "upwind" of the volcano (so the resulting magma shower did not take out a propeller) and just hit "Video" and let the drone do its thing.
Excellent, I'm surprised there aren't more views but I did have to search for "drone Iceland". This is exactly what I wanted to see. Please keep sharing. It's interesting from an aerial perspective where the lava is flowing.
Really enjoyed this video and the music - most appropriate! Fascinated by all the different colours and shapes and forms of the lava. Perhaps some day you could do a video following each valley out from the volcano so we can see the actual extent? That would be awesome! Thanks for posting these.
Brilliant how its possible to get a sense of scale when you include the people standing close by. You've really captured the best of this once in a lifetime, mesmerising event. Beautiful. Thank you, keep it up!
Very nice! It would also be cool if you could do one where you start at the cone and follow the flow path all the way to its end, just to give the "big picture" so to speak.
Großartig - einzigartig! Eine sehr ästhetische Präsentation, die die Faszination zwischen beängstigender Naturgewalt und beeindruckender Schönheit sehr gelungen zeigt. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Now I'll try it in English: Great - unique! A very aesthetic presentation that very successfully shows the fascination between the frightening force of nature and impressive beauty. Thank you very much for that
Amazing and beautiful! I love the music too, it makes one realise that the omnipresent God is also watching this new creation of land. Thank you for sharing this. 😀🙏
Nice shots! I would appreciate some infos like which cams and drones were used, and even more: could someone of the drone pilots here post the gps data from their droneflights? Also, what is the city in background we could see to the end? Thanks!
Thank you. I used a Mavic2 for all the shots. I could post my "flight paths" from the drone if anyone was interested. The city is the town of Keflavik, where the main airport is located. The volcano has grown to the point where you can actually see the top of the eruption from Keflavik and some of the other towns.
@@dronelaw Thanks for the info and yes I am interested in the "flight paths" - I would transfer them into GoogleEarth, and fly them for myself looking around - would be very interesting, though Google Earths data is not actual. thx
Wow! Absolutely stunning videography! I feel like I just watched IMAX quality film free of charge! If I wasn’t in such dire financial straits, I would contribute to your work because I would absolutely pay to view something of this quality!
Out of curiosity, how are the thermal air currentsa off of the lava/volcano? It seems like the updraft off of the bigger flows could cause piloting issues and make autopilot interesting.
The thermal issues are a real potential problem. I watched the volcano for an hour before flying. First, you had to avoid being above the volcano when it erupted for obvious reasons. Second, all those pretty little chunks of orange magma turned into small black rocks, which fell "downwind" of the volcano. So, if you flew "downwind" of the volcano, you ran the risk of having a propeller broken by the pumice shower. The pumice shower can actually travel a long way before "landing". I was over 1 km away from the hill near the volcano (so probably 1 1/2 km away total) one time I got hit with a pumice shower.
Hello, I used a Mavic2 and I do no post-production stuff (I'm a patent and trademark attorney by profession and I just fly drones for a fun hobby, so I just "fly and post". I did the video editing in an ancient editing program called "Windows Movie Maker", so all credit to the volcano.
@@dronelaw Well, You absolutely know how to use that 'ancient' editing program! And this 'ancient' thanks you for your efforts. Just subbed and will follow your channel. Thanks from a new fan in Florida.
I,ve been watching the eruption since it began and the Lava is flowing extremely fast, the nearer it travels towards the Dike the speed hasbeen increasing.

Very magic I´m longing home to my planet ............Is that gold you have in such quantities? I´ll take a lot on my ship!

I think these are the greatest volcano videos ever made. Thank you.
Amazing DZ . .the wow factor of your shots is off the charts . .Thank you
Thank you!
This is just awesome. What drone technology is doing here is creating historic records in a way previously very limited. Thank you for uploading.
Beautiful footage. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing video. I wish I could get there to see with my own eyes but this video is best Ive seen in awhile. Thankyou for sharing this...
If you can get there, you would not regret it.
Thank you for sharing. Mesmerizing imagery.
I think your videos are exceptional. The way you capture light is next level. Wow.
Thank you for the fabulous photography. Yours is the best site I've seen by far. Great music also. Congratulations, from an acid Volcano Fan in Australia. Wish I was there!!!
You would not regret a trip there if you could make it. The volcano is amazing.
Stunning footage. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

Awesome!! Nothing is more spectacular than seeing that lava just pour out of that crater!! The volume is just so amazing!!
Absolutely amazing and beautiful, wonderful drone video!!!
Truly spectacular footage of our spectacular planet. Thank you.
Wow!! Thank you for the video !impressive !👍🌋🌋
Breathtaking.. Thanks Drone Zone for posting!

Wow, splendid aerial footages, thanks for sharing, be safe every one.
Absolutely stunning!
Thanks for posting
Truly awe inspiring. Many thanks for giving these images of the places we cannot normally see.
Thank you for this amazing look at this act of creation.
Just amazing! Thank you for that excellent view, incredible as the magma boils up and begins flowing forth.
Awesome. Ambient music sets it off to perfection.
Nice filming and music.

Thanks especially for the overhead view at 4 minutes. Wonderful shots overall
Nice music. So nicely fitting. Thank you for the title at the beginning of your video. Awesome drone fottage. Please stay safe and take care.

I live in California, but will be back in July and will get some more footage there. Good idea on the shot, thank you for suggesting it.
Nice work, thanks for sharing
Fantastic, we don't often get to see the other side of the volcano. Just stunning footage, thank you 🙏

Damn, What a nice video.. Good work there. Keep them coming.
Beautiful … but scary! Great photography! Just subbed.
Great one , thanks from Germany 🇩🇪
Very nice! It would also be cool if you could do one where you start at the cone and follow the flow path all the way to its end, just to give the "big picture" so to speak.
I have another video where I do start at end edge of the lava and fly toward the volcano, but the lighting is not good so it is not a very good shot.
Excellent drone footage - well done I wish i was there!
Absolutely stunning and probably the best footage I've yet seen of this volcano.
Thank you. It was lots of fun to fly there.
Some awesome footage there, quite an interesting eruption to watch, have been following it for weeks here. Greetings from Scotland
An interesting look of almost a 360 view of the range of the volcanos....
4:29 is EXACTLY what I've been waiting for. The pulsing of the beginning of the eruption event. BIG thank you
It was incredible watching the eruption starting.

Fantastic photography. I can't believe how tall the cone is now.
Excellent! Among the best drone footage so far!
I like the ambient music too. Too bad is past by so quickly. It should be in the description.
Beautiful footage!
Beautiful, incredible, thank you for sharing
Stunning - especially like the view starting at 2:10
thx for these wonderfull impressions
Absolutely stunning! Your photography is beautiful and the music was perfect. Best video on this volcano that I've seen.
Thank you for the very relaxing video…
Incredible, thank you
Great video.
Beautiful!
Magnifiques vidéo avec des prises de vues fantastiques merci !
even with youtube's compression and with only 1080P resolution, it looks amazing. :)
Great footage. thanks.
Mesmerizing!! 👍👍
This is a fabulous video! Awesome. Just turn the sound off to make it better, since there are no "volcano" sounds.
Great footage!
Stunning !!
Amazing volcano up from the sky cool
coole Drone-Pilot, thanks Sir Red Baron ;-)
Ha ha ha, glad you liked it.

Ja, that's ist...that I was waiting for....great shots
Best video I have lately seen!
Mind blowing!
The amount of magma is incredible. Great film.
Nice video. Any chance doing a flight following the flow from the volcano to the end of the flow?
I will try that when I go back in July. Thank you for the idea.
Mesmerizing
Awesome. Very good vid. Bro.
Probably the most fitting music for the clip. Good work jesse Gallagher

Fascinating 🖖🏼
This video is just wonderful... BEST that i hacv seen... May i share It on Facebook? Please. Nice greetings from spanish María
Thank you. Of course you are welcome to share it, thank you for thinking it is good enough to share.

look how the lava mountain peeks keep going in the distance at 3.04
Well done!
I like the music. Can I play it on Spotify?
Thank you, the music should be available on "RUclips Free Music" or for some of the other videos www.Bensound.com.
Wonderful!👍👍👍
But what "sort" of drone do you use to get a such a precise image. Are the images rectified with video post processing?

Wow!!!Looks like the beginning of the planet!!!Sure is a lot of lava!!!

would it be fantastic if there were 24/7 live feeds with views like this just wow
I like the music!
