Why life leech? Im new to the sampire but doesnt mess with the calculations with vamp emb? Ive been using hit lightening, fireball etc.. A cheaper alternative is to use a cheap/looted spell channelling d axe compared to a max imbued d axe for atleast the first level with oozes, I use it through the first 2 levels as these mobs usually fall to the first hit and there are some oozes still about.
Life leech, vampiric embrace and curse weapon all stack on each other. The more life you leech, the better your survivability at later levels or harder monsters. You could also use the imbued spell channeling weapon to complete the entire spawn, although your alternative definitely works.

Researching the sampire has been difficult, alot of old info, misguided info etc. 2 reasons why i do the cheaper alternative for 1-2 levels of rat spawn is first for weapon durability (max imbued weap will have a longer life span) and to get that extra "more important" imbue on the later spawn.
since I have your attention what are your thoughts on 120 real skill sampire with zero chivelry or perhaps you could make a video with further details and/or pros and cons. Thanks for the feedback and content
@@briker75 I run two different templates on my Sampires. 120 Swords 120 Bushido 120 Tactics 120 Resisting Spells 100 Necromancy 80 Chivalry 60 Parry OR 120 Swords 120 Bushido 120 Tactics 120 Resist 120 Anatomy 100 Necromancy 60 Parry You do need +40 skill gain for the 2nd method. When I was newer to the template, people recommended that I should use a 120 Anatomy Soul Stone to potentially change out with the Resisting Spells... what I found out, is that I never would change the skills, as I think that Resisting Spells is too important as a part of the build. In general, I don't think that Sampires really need to have Chivalry as long as your suit is built correctly. As long as you have a Cameo, Slayer Weapon and +100% DI on your suit, Enemy of One only helps with Neira & the Harrower when it comes to champ spawns, and that is only because she doesn't have a slayer. The damage bonus with Anatomy is huge. You also don't need Consecrate Weapon as long as you have the carry the correct weapons in your bag, which also helps eliminate the need. On the other hand, you will give up your only method of resurrecting other players, which this inside of itself can be annoying. My solution to this is, there are actually enough +Chivalry items that you can actually have +70 Chivalry.... without having a single point in the skill itself. When I need to do this, I just switch to this gear set (Sign of Order, Luna Lance, Mark of Travesty and +40 on Jewels). This way, I can actually resurrect other players when needed (you will fail a bunch, but that's okay!). You can also flip the gear over and use Enemy of One on Neira, etc. if needed too!
