Using an inline spark plug tester to verify a plug is firing - P301 engine misfire error code

I install the inline spark plug tester between the spark plug wire and spark plug , then start the engine and show what you should see with a properly firing spark plug. I discuss the 'cylinder 1 misfire' P301 error code that is triggered when a spark pug isn't firing.

Thanks Patrick ! Unfortunately the manuals are hard to get these days- they once were easy to get at Canadian Tire and Princess Auto. I've been able to get them cheap on Ebay though - good luck !

We used to work on a lot of those free stars back in the day. Try some BG 44 platinum in the fuel tank. Clean the throttle body & mass air meter. Think ya find a great improvement. Excellent video!! 👍🏼 🇨🇦
