    I love what you've done with this.. It's beautiful. Thanks for being real. So many crafters edit out the difficult moments like getting the backing off tape. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who has struggles when crafting.

    Beautiful! We have a toy charity called Jeffreys Toy Closet that my son started in adjunct to his racing about 15 years ago. I will be making some of these to add to the Christmas packages and Toy bags that he gifts to sick and needy kids. These will be awesome to write a little bit of merry sentiment and encouragement. Thank you.

    Hi Tara, Awesome tutorial!! Will have to get some of the sleeves you used. The card turned out Beautiful. I think I added an extra step or two when I did my shaker envelope cards. Will definitely be doing them this way. TFS
    Sheryl

    • @NurseTara04
      @NurseTara04  9 лет назад

      +gemzisle Thanks Sheryl! You can use any plastic sleeves you may have. I'm going try to find some plastic page protectors at the dollar store and see how they work. If I like them I'll let you know as they would be more economical. I tried using the self sealing bags as an alternative but the sequins don't move as freely as I'd like. Have fun creating, can't wait to see more of your shaker cards!

    • @NurseTara04
      @NurseTara04  9 лет назад

      +gemzisle Hey Sheryl, I wanted to get back to you and let you know that I played around with the clear page protectors from the Dollar Tree and they work beautifully. Naturally they're a little more flimsy than the wrmk sleeves but the sequins and beads move around nicely and I'm very happy with the result. I may do a quick update video because for $1 you get 16 sheets per pack and that's enough to make a lot of shaker cards!

    I would be afraid that clear tape wouldn't hold over time because that kind of tape looses it's tackiness after a while. That would definitely worry me & on such a beautiful card. Have you checked any that you made some time ago. This I a really beautiful card in every way & clever. Hopefully the foam tape will be what it needs. I will definitely try this type of shaker. Pink & silver is such a pretty combination. Thank you for your inspiration & your time.

      +521LakeStreet Thank you Sandy! I believe I got those from Joanns. But I am currently using a Craft Mates Lockables binder which I absolutely love! Tfw!

      I got those binders from Michaels when they were on sale or used a coupon as the regular price is $19.99. If you search Craft Mates Lockable binders you should be able to find them.

    I finally got around to watching this great tutorial! I'm so glad I did because I now know what type of card I'm going to make for an up coming swap. Thanks so much for sharing. I too got the HSN Fuse bundle so I can't wait to give it a try. Is it the same concept for the larger envelopes you made? Thanks again. ~Theresa

    Loved your Tutorial!! Absolutely Adorable Shaker Card (& not too hard for beginners like me)!! 👍☺️ Just got to get the materials!! Oh! Did you "handcut the center frame of the card?

      +HISIAM888RUHIS888 Thank you so much. I used a spellbinders die to create the window, but you could easily use a punch or hand cut a window as well. Tfw!

    Thanks for your tutorial and acknowledging that it can be frustrating. I too like to jump right in and then realize I made a big oopsy!. I enjoy watching your videos.
