I lived in Taiwan (as a foreigner) and learned Chinese with a Taiwanese accent. It felt so natural to listen to YangYang speak Chinese in his Taiwanese way. When I returned back to America and met more people from China I couldn't understand their Chinese at first. It makes me happy that a Taiwanese person is receiving love and attention from all over the world! ❤️ 因為我以前住在台灣，學過台灣腔的中文，聽他說話真舒服。大部分的人是來自中國，一開始聽不太懂中國人的口音。我非常開心一位台灣人在收到全球的關心。❤️

But be prepared because friends of mine who learn German ( I am a native German and live in Germany) once said that while learning German, "German will make you feel as if it was smarter than you". I think I get what she means because we do actually have a lot of grammar other languages don't (for example: English- the(male) , the(female), the(neutral) German- der (male), die (female), das (neutral). So better think twice but I and many others as well as Yangyang as he said can help you learning it even if it is hard^^
