I think the J6 ordeal they just ruled on just showed us what they will rule on immunity

I don't know how this case ever ended up at the Supreme Court. Is there something in the Constitution that prohibits the application of criminal law to a President? That would be a proper question for the Court to answer, if such a prohibition were in the Constitution. Since there is none, it doesn't seem the Justices have any authority on a non-Constitutional question. And they are impeding the operation of law. The impeachment clause is merely designed to spell out how a President or other official in the Executive Branch can be removed from office. This is not the deciding clause. It has nothing to do with overarching criminal law.
