It was Bravo One Zero that decided not to deploy due to unfavourable conditions. Bravo Three Zero deployed with their vehicles.

You can delegate authority, but you can't delegate responsibility.

Walking 180 miles with limited food and water, practically none is a story enough, there was no need for embellishment!

I find it mad and strangely slick that once the Patrol broke down they partnered up with their 'Oppos' like so: Andy Mcnab & Mike Coburn Both Infantry &SF. Steve Lane & Dinger both Para. Chris and Stan both TA (Reserve). I know Bob and Vince dies separately but this always sparked my interest. God bless Soldiers 💂‍♀️🙏💯🙌

The one who go away (Chris Ryan) is a good book, Bravo Two Zero is a good read whether you believe it all or not.

@@justwayne4785so it's a good fictional novel. Things said in this video are so well documented anti-SAS behavior it's not believable. Not going to name them all

@@nolianpazac8440Ironic you lie in your own sentence, they didn't lie about "everything" and of course its not going to be 100% true, these accounts never are. For example, Lone Survivor, the only survivors account was rather different to that of the Afghan villagers.

A lot of this operation was fabricated. Several books were written about this, and they all contradict each other. There is a book out called "The Real Bravo Two Zero" written by Michael Asher. He went back and retraced the patrol. That's worth the read.

dont believe everything you see or read online.
I'll take the word of highly decorated british veterans over the word of a iraqi farmers. Michael Asher should have known better than to take all of that at face value.

Michael Aser did a bit of investigative journalism and fact finding. People, especially the British masses love to hear fairy stories about the courageous bravery of British soldiers. Nobody wants to hear the truth because it's uncomfortable. Besides, you can't make a blockbuster movie about 7 lost souls who couldn't find an Iraqi in Iraq! ( Ben Elton)

If most of the story is true it's pure craziness, no radio or form of communication? no escape route? no extraction? dumped somewhere no one even knows who's around?
Why would they even go there in the first place? It's definitely the Sergeant's fault to keep his mouth shut and yes not having a working radio.

Im looking at the thumbnail pic taken on the chopper tailgate, and ive just realised that the only one to escape(Chris Ryan) was the only one without a mustache, Obviously SAS mustaches can be seen at such a distance they were a dead giveaway! The Iraqis are well awware that only SAS soldiers can grow mustaches in a matter of hours. The timing of mustache growth are now part of the selection process!😊.

.not even close. Unless you kmow nothing of SAS history and believe the very questionable conflicting stories put out by the mission members.

this book bravo two zero i just read it. not read a book since high school.it's the best story i have ever heard about. it was written by the commander of the secret team in 1993 before i was born. i have researched its popularity and its actually the biggest selling true war book of all time and it has been translated into thirteen different languages for the global sales. it was still a Amazon number 2 bestseller for 2023. im ordering hes next book in chronological order its called immediate action from 1995 and this was also a million copies bestseller and was at the top of the bestseller list for almost six months before Amazon in 1995 / 6. superhuman fitness and endurance to run in pitch black darkness in a wicked winter is pretty impressive. commander McNab is good. 👑
