Being in the mountains you guys won't experience too hot of temperatures especially with the breeze. Your nights will always be on the side of wanting to have a blanket or sweater near by. My fondest memories were campfires during the summer at my moms friend's house in the Sandia Mountains which is south of you guys. If you're serious about a horse you can look into adopting wild ones for your property. Another name for those flowers are Indian Paintbrushes. I loved finding them as a kid. Sorry I comment so much its just cool you guys moved out here and I love to share 😂
I love how molly feet were black on the bottom of them 😂 remember those days 😅long ago !! My mom would make me clean them with a hose before i came inside house or trailer 😅 good old days ! 😂❤

My son is in Bahrain and flies out tomorrow night back to the states to Norfolk. 15 hour flight. He has been deployed since last October. Yay! What a great Memorial Day!

Oh yes they will bring the goats and they eat awayaway at the grass and weeds it’s a site to see pure amazement. I think they clear like 2 to 3 acres a day.

In Jan and Feb in Taos this year, we had nights of -12 and mornings of -3. The drive they take to Taos from their property is gorgeous now but come winter when it snows, totally different story. My father in law drives it every day.
