I still remember it very clear. Back then, RTZ was in EG with Sumail but they couldn't win championship. And during that time Secret was too strong. Then RTZ went to secret, secret tumbled while on the other hand, EG won TI with Fear as carry. LUL. RTZ cry baby overrated.

RTZ Not going for bkb isn’t a thing. This is NOT a bkb game for his carry. SB troll enchantress impetus pierces bkb. Skywrath silence can be dispelled with manta and i think rtz is still going for satanic (another dispell). The only one will fck him up will be kunkka that can be taken care of by the other SR member. I think TS just played better than SR and im not even a rtz fan boy.
Not all the time you should go for bkb especially if you are playing on high level dota and trusting your teammates capability especially your own.
You should be thinking the hero who will fuck you up and buy an item that will counter the enemy who has the highest potential of fcking u up. Bkb will only eat his 1 slot space and its not even worth it.
i still think RTZ need at least one defensive item(manta or bkb or linken) to reset fight / buy time until your teammate able to assist to not instant die by 1sillence spell gank. he should learn more from yatoro game. you can check yatoro group stage game, most game if not all will at least have one def item.

Just to dispell the silence or try to dodge projectile stun of WK and not to get bursted then ulti into fight. To buy some time on other teammates to react.

I think the main problem with the first map if you are playing tb is the troll and SB. Troll will chase the shit out of you together with SB on top of flying impetus as i mentioned this is not a BKB game. Thus rtz did purchase hurricane pike to position himself. I would prefer hurricane pike than the usual dragon lance into bkb with this line up. But in total it’s not about the item choice he made, its the way the team spirit played. It was fcking awesome

Most clashes in the 2nd game he just stood there 100 to 0 in 4 seconds or gets kited to death. Worst carry every, kick rtz abed's effort was all wasted.
game 1 was even worse. he get perma stun by kunka. top networth can't do shit since he is stunned till he die or juked. what's the use of the items if he can't even hit
If all other 4 can use all their spells on RTZ then there is a problem with his team and not him not having bkb. SB has 8 second cd to CC you for 4 seconds during your BKB. This means that effectively you are wasting a slot and 4k gold for 2 seconds debuff.

Saberlight is decent, but not quite an effective offlane compared to Collapse.
He consistently slightly loses his lane every game. His midgame is "meh". He never has any big highlight reel plays. Very little impact.
