We are Moving : to a slower way. Backwards is the new forwards.

My family and I will be moving from the beautiful Sacred Valley in Peru towards the cloud forests (high altitude jungle) of Machu Picchu which is lower altitude than where we are. We have many personal reasons for the move but mainly we just want nature, community and simplicity: La vida tranquila. I share a bit about the changes in the valley as we see modernity shift the ways of living that we have wanted to learn from and emulate about slower ways of being.
There are so many things I didn't share about: water issues, increased development plans, pollution and insane rising costs of land as the place was claimed part of a unesco heritage site and that we have known for almost a decade that this was the direction we wanted to head both literally and as a lifestyle change.
All doors opened to move in the direction we have wanted for many many years and we are excited to share a bit about the process. Apologies for terrible lighting and sound. We will be getting a better set up when we get settled in. Everything is packed away right now. But generally, we just want to move backwards to older ways of doing things and share the journey.
