I had a pretty similar expirience recently. It's not a good feeling when you realize how much you hurt someone you always cared for, but never had the ability to show or even tell them how important they were and still are to you.
Molly has always been one of the most important characters. She isn't hopeless, she's brilliantly smart and loyal. Her only flaw is that she fell in love with a man who feels afraid to love at all. Sherlock trusts her, and in his own way cares for her very deeply. Molly is us. She's all the Sherlock fans who see his perfections that he can't see himself. So thank you Moffat for keeping her in the story. She's brilliant.

The face on Sherlock's face when she says "i dont count", almost saying "how you can think that?!"....and the face of him when he says he needs her, it might've been a part of the plan and scheme to use against Moriarty, but the way he looks at her, with the pupils dilated, just as the way he could tell Irene fell for him, he was looking at her the same way Irene looked at him. Im not a big shipper fan but cant help and love Molly and hope this 2 end together somehow
You know Irene just pales in comparison to the way Sherlock feels for Molly. Irene doesn't know him or see through him like Molly can and Sherlock doesn't trust Irene the way he trusts Molly.
That so true, Sherlock definitely had a thing for Molly even if he didn't acknowledge it himself. Have you noticed how defensive he got everytime Molly got a guy. Sherlock did admire Irene for who she was and what she did but not romantically and not in the way he admired Molly.

She can be mad at him, slap him, stop talking to him, but when he will call out "Molly" (giving credit to Benefict's sexy voice), she will be running to him leaving behind everything in the world. Hopelessly in love she is. Molly just gives and gives without expecting anything in return. Her love is so pure and unconditional. And if any woman Sherlock ever cared about is her. He doesn't show his emotions openly not only because he is a sociopath or such but also it's his way to safeguard them. Moriarty never tried to endanger Molly's life 'cause Sherlock pretended to not care about her whereas in his own confession she was the person mattered to him the most. Wasn't it a confession? What more explicit can we expect from Sherlock? Of course we got "I love you" in season 4 finale. :))
At 1:05, when Sherlock says, "Well actually maybe I-" and Molly responds, "I know you don't," I realize now why she cut him off. I always thought it was just because she continued thinking in her head, "Yeah, what would he need from me?" after his previous statement of, "But what would I need from you?" But suddenly I remember that she knows if he did ask her for something, he wouldn't really /need/ her for it. Like in the first episode, when she tried asking him to go out with her for a cup of coffee, he assumed she was offering him coffee then and there. He would mess with her like that (arguably knowingly or not), and so when he was about to ask her for something, she presumed he was going to request something unnecessary and stopped him before he could start. Maybe her "I know you don't" was not "I know you don't really need anything," but rather "I know you don't really need me." Yeah, it took me watching the clip a million times before I realized this. lol
I actually took it as he always tend to reject her in every posible way, so she's so used to it that even when he's going to ask her something, she immediately brings back his usual rejection and assume he don't/won't need anything

I'm so glad Steve Moffat and Mark Gatiss decided to keep Molly's character as a permanent fixture. She's brilliant, and there is SOOO much chemistry between her and Sherlock. It's beautiful to watch. I really, really hope they get together. SOON. Please?
What I love about this video is how real it is. It shows the feeling between these two without exaggerating or adding scenes from different movies or parts that aren't together. It just fits so well, and it shows how strong and caring Molly's character is and how important she is. This is amazing.
When i was watching the scene for the very first time and she said, 'i dont count'... and my heart just stopped... and the look on his face, sherlock's, spoke volumes!! I love this video... and i love molly hooper more than irene adler... Molly looks real ♥ and i adore her. This video gave me tears :') good job ♥

The pupils dilation in that scene was mainly to do with the lighting. It's a dark room, and he is facing down and away from the light. His pupils were dilating so they could take in the most light possible. Nice theory, though. You could probably dig around and find other scenes where he has dilated pupils. There are certainly a few out there.

He says in the very first episode that girlfriends are "not his area" but never says that about men, he just says he doesn't have a boyfriend, and is flattered by John's interest but isn't looking for anything right now. You need to watch TSoT again. Sherlock checking men out for Janine, Sherlock looking in rooms full of MALE soldiers, Sherlock pointing at tons of women in a courtroom saying "not you not you" and ending with saying "you it's always you" to JOHN. And also, look at S3 Sherlock, no longer married to his work is he? In fact, he spends all his time planning John's wedding instead of taking cases. John tells him his inbox is bursting. There's a word for insisting Sherlock is attracted to women even though there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO EVIDENCE FOR IT ON THE SHOW: Heteronormativity.

I've always loved Molly, she is my favorite character. Any man would die for a girl like her and sadly she got her heart broken by Sherlock, but we all knew where his heart laid. I just hope that in series 3 she finds the love of her life.

This was beautiful. I never really grasped the surprise and confusion in Sherlock's reaction when she says "I don't count", as if the idea baffled him, until I saw this. He thinks people are simple puzzles laid out before him, but things like that, the emotion people like Molly have that carries them, continue to surprise him.

Molly is so kind and precious, trying to help Sherlock and all. And it just kills me to see Sherlock being so mean to her, using her. For example, the Christmas party and Molly's gift. And when Sherlock said 'What can I ever need from you?' It's so sad. But I ship these two so hard.

I've always loved Molly, she is my favorite character. Any man would die for a girl like her and sadly she got her heart broken by Sherlock, but we all knew where his heart laid.

I hate that this wasn’t THEIR love story. you can’t make people love u even tho you can break your heart to complete theirs, only for them to give it to someone else. We all were molly at some point in our life but it’s okay. That just wasn’t her story

This was beautiful. I never really grasped the surprise and confusion in Sherlock's reaction when she says "I don't count", as if the idea baffled him, until I saw this. He thinks people are simple puzzles laid out before him, but things like that, the emotion people like Molly have that carries them, continue to surprise him.
I know that's impossible and not logical at all, but please father christmas, Jolupucky or somebody else, add a little bit breathtaking scenes with Molly for us pleeeeeease (if Sherlock never got married why won't he pay attention to Molly. just as a friend) who's writing a plot there, hey! we all want more Molly!)))))))
