This is hilarious lol I have Saturn in Sagittarius as my ascendant and I was the perfect obedient little child growing up.. good grades, started working when I was 14 years old (because I wanted to earn my own money), graduated early, worked as an accountant, was super afraid of flights.. One day, when I was 23, I had a concussion and it turned my life upside down. I left that job, and moved to Germany. I’ve co-piloted two flights, i’ve gone skydiving and hang gliding. My parents are Catholic, I have no idea what the hell I am. Recently I decided to just not even think about it anymore. It’s been a really huge topic in my life for the past couple of years for some reason. I’m going through the toughest time finding guidance in life. I was a daddy’s girl as a kid but as I grew older all we do is clash. Career? Recently launched my own business, it hasn’t been easy at all. All in all I’m living my best queer life. I was born in South America, grew up in New England , currently in Germany but who knows? I’m 31 now, I started traveling in my early 20s, have visited 28 countries, it’s slowed down in recent years, because of my lower income, but hopefully my business takes off and so can I too ✈
My love life? Laughable 🤣 I did pretty well for a couple of years but ya know, Saturn and their lessons 😭
I follow Vedic astrology where I have Saturn in my 7th house in Sagittarius (in conjunction with Mercury and Venus) on my birth chart, and in my ascendant and Sagittarius on my D-9 chart. Lost soul

Yup I was rebellious unintentionally. But started exploring other religions online after I had to quit college due to financial problems. If in the 9th house, it also effects all lords and rulers of the house and sign Saturn is in, delays the effects of all involved. So your Jupiter placement here may also be delayed because Saturn is in its ruling sign/house

If there was a rebellion, I was there. lol
A Vedic astrologer once told me that a Sag with Saturn would find his/her fortune overseas after the second Saturn return. He was right.

As I undercover the rotten belief system that was installed, so strictly into me in my childhood, "cocoon," this video came straight up as I had Saturn in Sagittarius in 11th house. And yes, it's f up, but I am breaking down all the crap that keeps me stuck. This one is for the inner child who was not allowed to dream or never received support to follow her dreams.

OMG. U know ur stuff. I am the rebel in our family when it comes to belief systems. My parents practically think I could go to hell for leaving Christianity in search for more profound spirituality.

"You'll never just repeat back what you have heard" - Truth has been spoken. My Saturn is in 12th house, a lot of pain it brought with. But your words brought so much validation to me, thank you. Indeed I fought for my freedom with blood sweat and tears. The cold harsh truth of Saturn also hides an odd mystery to me.

Wow this is super accurate. I was homeschooled and raised in a very religious environment and lived at home until I was 24 and then I moved out of state and lived in 4 different states and now I’m very spiritual and read tarot and extremely open minded.

That's me! I've discovered that the thirst to travel never is quite quenched for me. Im trying to create a life that can accommodate it a little more, so there are definitely obstacles there right now that frustrate. I feel trapped often. I also was a really "good", quiet kid as a child and that kinda evolved the closer I got to the recent first Saturn return... although I think I've always secretly enjoyed mildly rebelling. Family or societal expectations were and still are a favorite. I sometimes can't help getting fired up about those things...it's in my DNA. There is always that danger of being dogmatic though...I try to be mindful of that because it's easy to fall into this trap. I have a loveable Sag dad and he's really stuck in his beliefs/ways at home, refused to travel for years... but then as soon as I took him abroad with me ONE time..he suddenly became this wise, worldy, travel sage. HE was the cultural expert now. It was so hilarious 😂. He also shocked me with the things he was willing to try out, I didn't even have to push him to be adventurous. I know a few other Sag people too who might be served by a good international excursion from time to time just like my dad :) that's a sign that needs to keep the flame moving or else the house will burn down! I can also feel this operating in my life too even in Saturn. Sagittarius is one wild energy:)

Loved it! Thank you so much! I have a couple of Sag placements (moon, saturn, uranus)and five 9 houses, so open mindedness, philosophy and love for other cultures have always been my thing, but Saturn definitely delayed some of these in some ways. I do want to travel so much, but i am always restricted there. Either by money when i was younger and now bc of kids (and money). I do feel like my freedom in general has always been restricted in one way or another. And when I do get the freedom, i would rarely do anytning with it bc the traps and confinements would be in the mind. I've always loooved flying though.
Wish you would do through the houses too. My Saturn is in 2nd house (so finances).
And yes, currently in my mid 30s moving farther and farther from my social and childhood conditioning. Rebeling against all that and trying to see what are actually my thoughts and what are things thst were planted.

Thanks so much for that Eliza.......you are excellent at this! It's pretty much spot on for me. I was put in a 'pig pen' and couldn't escape until my mid-teens! My family couldn't work me out and didn't know what to do with me. My relatives from my generation seem so narrow minded and very jealous of my experiences. Every single one of them became married very young and to their first or second girlfriend/boyfriend - I am the opposite. (Though I'll never say never!) I first got on a plane at 22 and have been travelling alone since I was 27. In between ventures I get very frustrated when I'm back in the UK. Australia is a Sag country and what you said probably explains why I love it there so much.

I'm a recent philosophy grad (completed my degree in my 30s) and am a white convert to Theravada Buddhism (mom is Catholic, dad Lutheran). They were actually pretty tolerant but I was still really rebellious lol. I was just thinking about studying in Sri Lanka, or continuing to study philosophy abroad in Germany, with some trepidation, after all this covid stuff is over, since I've never left my home city for any extended period of time, but most signs in my life seem to suggest that's the way to go, at least for a time. Even if I don't take the receptive position of 'being taught' very well, I guess I'll need people to teach once I'm done internally accumulating these experiences, and these far off places can be places where there's a relevant audience for what we want to teach, too. Thanks, this video was helpful.

really accurate stuff :) thank you. Got my Saturn in 9th house Pisces conjunct with my mercury, I have certainly rebelled against a very closed minded set of beliefs from my parents. Live far from where I was born, and have lived in 5 different countries at 25. I do enjoy travelling and have done so quite a few times. Although not to radically different cultures, so maybe that will come later in life as I've not had the opportunity yet. I do love storytelling as it is such a profound and beautiful way of relating to others. So filmmaking is defo a career I'm aspiring to pursue

I used to live such a sheltered life as a kid and now I live on the other side of the world in a country That speaks a language I only half understand and exploring is something I just love! I hate being on an airplane but I do love going to new places! I also have a very different view on life then my family (maybe they don’t know about it atm). It’s easy to not share it when I’m so far away :/

I love saturn. Even though, its my home planet to my capricorn sun. I have Sagittarius in saturn here and you hit the nail on the head. I often feel like, saturn is a stern judge. If im not doing what i suppose to do regarding to my purpose in life, hardship and headaches awaits. I feel like a king, a god inside that needs to bless others with motivation and for themselves to find there god, which is inside themselves. Saturn showed me my purpose in life, even though it took 30 years plus but my purpose is to travel around the world and to motivate man kind. I guess, im a motivational speaker. I have Sagittarius heavy in my chart: Moon, Mars, Saturn and Uranus with a Jupiter in Aries.

35 years ago I was born with Saturn at 27° in Sag. Finally, when I’m 37.5, it’ll move where it belongs in Capricorn 😭
At 33 years old I was forced to go no contact with my parents. I just couldn’t anymore. Their controlling miserable dogmatic existence was something I realized I can’t expose myself to anymore.
Thankfully I don’t relate toooo much with the shadow aspect, but this is probably because I have Uranus conjunct Saturn. I’m so curious what’ll happen for the year (ish??) where Saturn will be 0° Cap and Uranus will be 29° Sag
Man, just realizing I’ll probably have career issues coming up then. But whatever, fuck it, nothing can knock me down anymore 🤣🤣🤣 it’s been a time 😅❤️❤️❤️

Oh and I meant to say that although I tried to force myself into the weird cult box, ever since I was very young, I’ve been FURIOUS. On some level, always hated my parents, but really, really tried everything to have somewhat of a relationship with them until it almost led me to complete self-destruction and I was like NOPE. Anyways sorry thank you 🙏
