    I've been kicking my ass trying to pull off this kind of atmosphere. Great description, thank you. Math nodes are still a bit like black magic to me, but I'm getting there. As of this comment I haven't fired up 4.3 (have some 4.2 projects just finishing up), but I've been hopeful this sort of effect would be improved with the new release.
    I must've caught this just after you uploaded it too. Cheers!

      Right after the upload, and another Christopher, too! What good odds.
      In Blender 4.2, you can achieve the same mie scattering results if you adjust the anisotropy of the second volume scatter node. Just in case you're not making the jump yet :) Good luck!

      @@ChristopherFraserVFX Thank you! I've gotten really close to this effect in 4.2 but it's probably more to do with me still figuring it out than the version. Definitely going to try the MIE scattering effect.
      Space Art Christophers must stick together!
