With all that said, Dhamma is a path of practice. Thinking and metal gymnastics will not get across the river. 8 fold path and 4 noble truth is still needed.
Moreover, I don't even know whether the 'Buddha state' is the first state when we land here and we have yet to fully dive into unawareness or, as often professed, one of the last states before we leave. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it's simply a swinging pendulum going from one end to the other and back, with breaks in between maybe if you have enough for a while. And in this way we are all one system, one organism spanning all the states.
It is a pendulum for the mind and the sense of a person who is seeking the truth. Just focus on your own sense of being. And let the rest slide. There really isn't anything complicated to figure out.
It depends on what version of the story you hear. I think I said in the video that this is one version. Who knows if any of them are actually what happened. We just go with what we've got.
@@GPWalsh My parents were Buddhist, I’ve been a Buddhist all my life. I’ve meditated using different methods: Vipassana ( Southeast Asia) Chan (Chinese) Zen (Japanese) Mahamudra and Dzogchen (Tibetan) Even Soen (Korea) And Thiền (Vietnamese) And read countless Sutras in different languages. But I’ve yet to come across this nondual version of the Buddha last teaching. It sounded like something that Ramana Maharshi or Nisargadatta Maharaj would have said instead. But if the Buddha really said this then it would have been better. 😊 But on the other hand. From what I understand is that the sutras has been carefully preserved orally throughout generations of monks and nuns. So it’s hard to find one version that does not match with all the other standard versions. Yes, we can said that we will never know because we weren’t there. But the next best thing is the careful preserved oral tradition passed on from the first generation disciples of the Buddha.
Thank you for the reminder :) Sometimes I forget
Yeah, we all do. It is always grace that reminds us.
Thanks for this video. The grace via GP invited me to this knowledge.
Yes and, you accepting the invitation, it is leading you to that knowledge's fulfillment.
They should make a movie about Buddha and it's just that statement "you're not who you think you are" followed by two and a half hours of silence.
Wow this really landed❤
Oh so very glad Jacqueline. It was received by the heart.

Couldn't agree more
This will most likely be the path for many, but every path to finding one's self is subjective. There is no one true path.
👍

I thought it was either “Be a light unto yourself” or “Work out your salvation with care”

Just fact checking 😊
@@k14michael We'll never really know. But all versions help us and point to the same thing.

@@k14michael Well then I will defer to you. I don't have that history or involvement.
