I have been getting into vynil collecting recently, and this video popped up on my feed, and as soon as I saw harry and niall in the back I subscribed immediately 💚💙 🇮🇪 ❤💛
I have plenty of records from 70s, 80s and probably older from when they cost about a pound or less. The Deadpool and Wolverine one looks good. So does the Nightmare Before Christmas. Both cost nearly 50 pounds and the newest ones I have. I never really collected CDs except a Gorillas CD when I was a child that my mother bought for me.
As someone who’s older it’s mental to see how the music that is popular with kids has changed when I was younger me and my mates would listen to bands like Chumbawamba and crass then there was loads of different bands that were popular with other kids in those days but now it seems like younger people all listen to the same bands and artists it is honestly very strange to see
That’s so cool that everyone kind of used to listen to different stuff. Social media has definitely changed the music industry because specific artist are definitely gaining more popularity due to social media than they used to. It is definitely strange but it some ways it’s good and other ways bad. For me I love how loads of people have come together and connect over specific artists, like one supportive family:)
@@leefroggy_ yeah social media and streaming definitely play a role I’m starting uni in a few months because I never got the chance when I was younger so videos like these sort of videos are very helpful for me understanding what the younger generation are into now
Great collection! I also have the show in hmv version and it's beautiful. another thing to mention is I'm more of a lana girl than a taylor girl but i want to get into taylor so bad but I don't know where to start 😄 any suggestions?
I honestly don’t listen to Lana that much but I would say the folklore album is probably quite similar to the Lana vibe, I think folklore, evermore and midnights would be a good starting place. If you prefer more pop definitely 1989, speak now. But honestly just listening to a few songs from everyone albums once to try and see what vibe you want x The reputation album is like a mix of pop and Lana vibes so that’s also a good one:)
@@leefroggy_ thanks I’ve listened to most of her albums besides fearless and speak now, and am still at the stage of only listening to a few odd songs. So might need to relisten to some stuff or find another way to lure me in 🤭
@user-xt1ip8sg4u That’s what I did when I started to listen to Taylor more I just quickly scrolled through her songs listening to a few seconds of each and then added them to a playlist and just kept listening to my favourites on repeat 😂 Then I branched out to listening to whole albums
As a 49 year old who used to collect records when I was younger I’d like to ask what is it with you kids and your coloured discs I do not get it black is so much better
That’s a tricky question everyone probably feels differently, personally I just love the idea that they don’t all have to be black anymore. Music artists now a days want to be ‘different’ and don’t want a standard colour and more importantly they want the colour of the record to represent the album. It can give of a certain aesthetic if the pressing matches the cover art for example. But yes so personally I just love having a bit of variation, but I do still love the black on quite a lot of vinyls 😀
"I love all member almost equally, apart from Louis" SO REAL.😭
