Got mine when it first came out from my local authorized dealer for about $520. I think its a nice watch and I'm gonna keep it. If I paid full price I wouldn't be happy but for the price I'm happy. I only go into the office once a week and it's nice to have a dress watch I can throw on for work and not worry about setting it / winding it ahead of time.
I think that’s a good price for it. Honestly, I don’t think the $50 price bump by Hamilton was necessary 😅 I agree. It’s nice to have a quality quartz watch or two that’re ready to go.
Honestly I like it. Mind you, I do dress up in a sports jacket and tie once in a while; with a “business casual” ensemble I find the Boulton to wear extremely well, better than Seiko’s SUP880 solar Cartier homage. Also much smaller than my Orient Bambino which had been my go-to dress watch.
$750 for a quartz watch with mineral crystal? Maybe if if has a hand wind movement and sapphire, would be a better value proposition. Additionally, I don’t think Hamilton did a good job marketing this collaboration. When you think Indiana Jones, you think about the hat, the jacket and his Alden boots. I would bet 9 out of ten fans of the movies can’t name his watch.
Será el reloj de Indiana. Para dar clases en la Universidad de Chicago , o consultar un archivo en Venecia. Pero para dar saltos de piedra en piedra, meterse en cuevas y demás actividades de riesgo no me parece el reloj más adecuado
I was extremy surprised at the price when it came out. Quartz with a mineral crystal. And still 795 euro's. While a Hamilton fieldwatch comes at 625 euro and comes with a mechanical movement and sapphire.
There's the American classic boulton wich kinda looks like it except for the seconds hand not being appart and is also mechanical with a sapphire crystal and its about 940$
@@seanmatias1360 A freind of mine took his to the Flea market and was offered 35.00. This is a Gold colored Quartz watch! these dealers know what sells and does not sell in their market! Trying to resell something like this is foolish unless you find a kindred spirit! It has no real resale value!
Honestly I find the Bulova Frank Sinatra My Way is a much better deal then this. A sapphire crystal, small seconds hand on a sub dial the looks like a record, Caffe skin leather strap with a butterfly deployment clasp and for 550 or less.
The sapphire crystal should probably have definitely been there, but maybe they were thinking the mineral glass balanced out the dressiness with sportiness? 🤷♂️
@@FranklyCollectinghonestly I think it’s most likely that they were trying to cut costs to keep profits up. After all the Ventura series which is almost $900 also has mineral glass and that’s on the most basic model in that collection. For me the only way this watch would be worth it is if it was about $200 cheaper at minimum.
I think they definitely should have put sapphire crystal on this one. Seems like Hamilton is experimenting a bit, especially with the larger case sizes on a lot of other watches.
@@FranklyCollecting I been looking for a tank for my big wrist. I believe I homed it on a Bulova “My Way” Frank Sinatra watch in gold tone. My goal is to get a inexpensive watch but not one from China. This watch runs from $488-$550, depending where you get it.
What do you think of Hamilton's Indiana Jones watch?

I think they definitely upped the price with the Jones name.

That's an awesome watch. Where are you gonna sell it at? If you list it online, let us know!
I will be putting it up on eBay! Not sure when but probably soon. I need to sell a bunch of stuff, but I'm kinda procrastinating 😅

I did decent. I think I got $350-$400.
That's a flea market though 😂
Good reason to sell the watch. But, what if the watch was more sporty? What if this was the Indiana Jones Sports Watch?
I may have reconsidered then! I’m actually having second thoughts now. Like, can I just dress a little nicer so I can wear it 🤣

Really guys,I've got a list of Bridges you can buy!
You fell for That? I've got an almost mint real mechanical Vintage Boulton I bought for 150.00!
For me to pay a high price it should come with sapphire crystal.

Do you think you’ll take a big hit on the watch? There can’t be that big a resale market.
Looks like between $300 and $400 on eBay for preowned. About what I'd expected.
